Is it possible to download a CSV sales report that includes the location of the buyer? My accountant wants it for sales tax purposes.

You can download a csv sales report via https://www.zazzle.com/my/earnings/royaltyhistory
Set the time period and scroll down to the bottom to download
It only gives you the ship to location and not the buyers location. As far as I know, we've never had access to that data.

@unhingedheather Sara is correct, because these are technically Zazzle's customers, not ours. so for privacy reasons, this sensitive information is not disclosed to us. 🙂

"these are technically Zazzle's customers, not ours" - exactly. I'm no tax expert, but I don't entirely understand why your accountant would need to calculate sales tax on anything, because you're not really selling anything here. Zazzle is selling the merchandise so it's their responsibility to collect and pay any sales tax. You're just being paid a royalty - so the money you receive is being paid from Zazzle as non-employee compensation or miscellaneous income (depending on whether it's royalties or referrals) so sales tax shouldn't really enter into the equation.
Of course, it's completely possible that I totally misunderstood the situation - as I said, I'm no tax expert! 😉

The customer pays sales tax to Zazzle, not the designer, because Zazzle is the merchant, not us. Thus, Zazzle is duty-bound to pay sales tax to the various states. You'll have to give your accountant a clear picture of what Zazzle is and how it works.
