Years ago there was a way to make faux embossed text customizable. I've been away from Zazzle for a very long time and recently have jumped back in. I have a couple of business cards where the text looks embossed and is customizable, but totally forgot how to do that. Can anyone explain how to do this? Thank you.

Welcome back!
Go into your business cards via the design tool by "editing" the product and you can just replicate what you find there.

Another workaround is to copy the text from the original business card, paste it into the new business card, then modify the text.

True, but then she won't "learn" how to do it again without that work around. 😉

Very easy - I just went into a few of your products -- you are duplicating the letter and sliding it over to get the effect. One of my favorite things. You can also achieve that in the design tool now but not quite as well.
