I have a lot of questions about all this discontinued products...
First, some of them are not just discontinued, they are sometimes there, sometimes not. Or just some colors are gone. Why are this one also blocked for the customers, I think it's not great, because a lot of people could change and transfer design suggestions to other products.
Then, for this reason I would love to get a "transfer to other products" because like an example, it was a lot of time invested in melanin plates. But now we have paper plates. But to transfer one by one is somehow disgusting.
Then, something similar would be to use the same shape for transforming options. Plates are round, stickers too. I disagree with this option I have now. Select all discontinued products - then delete them, that's all I can do I a bunch.
today I have 2000 discontinued products in my basic shop. somehow disgusting to work as long with them. The page never reloads in a good way, it also takes hours to delete them.
But sometimes, I just deleted them and found days later some other product that would perfectly replace it.
Would love to get at least one more option for them. Just put them in an own hidden category in a bulk option, so I'm able to transfer some ideas on other products. It's somehow impossible to have an updated list of products that I can't ever find between this discontinued products.
I have to deal with different languages in my shop. OK, the translated versions almost never really work like the English version. It's at least my biggest fault here, that I started with a German shop. To change alle descriptions and tags is a quite horrible task with all this discontinued things around. It's really annoying so I'm thinking to delete my full shop just because somehow there is no reason why it needs so much time to be rearranged well.
Anny suggestions, how to bring this death products "in a reasonable" way to another product or out of my administration panel, without this "just delete them all" option?

I understand your frustration. There are lots of extremely frustrating things happening on Zazzle right now.
The suggestion I have is very time consuming for as many discontinued products as you say you have.
Use the new "view insights" dropdown which shows under each product to help guide you in your choices.
Select a discontinued product, transfer it to another product, create and save for sale.
Choose the discontinued products that have been most successful for you, leave the others behind and slowly delete them.

That's my routine just now. But I will get crazy because really often just one size of something is sold, so, it would work not to get this "discontinued" message at all. Somehow there is missing link in the new strategy, perhaps we will understand it someday. Or not...
