Do Collections Drive Sales or Am I Better Off Focusing on Single Products?

I have put not a lot but some effort into collections and not really seen a return on them. Has anyone sold multiple items in a collection to the same buyer? Trying to figure out if collections are worth my time or if I'm better off working on single items.

Thanks.

Collections absolutely work in my opinion. They're especially effective for wedding sets and event like birthdays and anniversaries...anything with coordinating party supplies. I sold matching welcome sign, table numbers, menus, invites and details cards to a customer today. That never happened in the days before collections were a thing.

I've gotten little, if any, results from collections, and it's because of what Baylee referred to: events. I'm not an event-oriented designer. I don't do weddings or any other sorts of celebrations, not personally and not design-wise, which is essentially a bad fit for Zazzle. They are all about events and it's how they advertise themselves and thus our designs. Nearly all my collections are in the "Other" category, which Zazzle has no place for. Therefore, if you do events, collections are a thing to do. Watch out for Other.

@Es I would say worth it - for promotional efforts link to the collection where no other designer's products are lurking to distract your buyer
