Hi All,
I am very new as a Zazzle creator and I have a simple question about product approval. I have heard of a few creators having their products marked as "needs optimization". Does Zazzle decide this? If so, would I be notified of this and how? What are some reasons for "needs optimization"?
Thank you in advance, Katie

No. Every design is reviewed before it is produced if it is ordered (and if it is found to violate policy it will not be produced and will be deleted), but there are tons of things out there that have never been reviewed.
"Needs Optimization" has nothing to do with any of that though... that just means that the item has not been viewed in a long time (more than a year) and Zazzle feels that as a shop keeper you should do something to change that - change the search terms, add a cover photo, promote the item on social media etc.
