does Zazzle report income to UK government from w8-BEN Form??

I am quite confused by the form. What exactly is it for? does Zazzle report your earnings to the UK government? where do I find my "Foreign tax identifying number"??

@stephenl1992  It's up to you to report your earnings via the Self Assessment form that you send to HMRC

The W8-Ben needs to be completed so that zazzle doesn't take 30% tax from your monthly earnings as the UK has a 0% tax treaty with the US

Fill it in and send it to them (the foreign tax identifying number is either your NI number or HMRC  - can't remember - you can join International Zazzlers Group on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/456252351220004

Thanks for your reply. Would HMRC know about my zazzle earnings if I were to complete this form and send it to zazzle? Or only zazzle would know?

I haven’t done the self assessment or reported any income yet as I haven’t been able to be paid my earnings because of the form.
