Editing a product you already have for sale

I have a few products that have text and images in places I don't want them.  Is it possible to edit a product that you have for sale without having to recreate them as a new product?

Welcome to the club! We’ve been asking for this for years. From time to time Zazzle selects a few special designers to give that option to, but it seems to be temporary even for them. The rest of us have to just repost as a new product, and hope we don’t have too many disgruntled customers or affiliates.

Hi Connie,

Thanks for replying.  That would be so nice to be chosen to have that ability to make the changes even if it was only for a short time.  I would guess it didn't work out very well if they didn't make it a permanent change for the rest of us.  I guess for now I'll just continue to change them and repost the new version.

I make those mistakes all the time and usually notice it right as I proofread something I just uploaded. If this is your situation, it's easy to make the changes and repost. This will create a new item for sale. Once that item is up I delete the one that had mistakes.

I do the same if I decide I want to change tags or description or title, due to the indexing issues you will see referenced in dozens of threads in these forums.

Hi Windy,

Thanks for replying.  The situation you mention is what I have had occasionally and I do exactly what you do.  I do however have a few products that have already sold that I would like to change.  One of the products is an ornament that has some text right in the hole at the top where the string goes to hang the ornament.  The customer (who customized it and corrected it when she ordered) was nice enough to alert me to this so I could change it on my end also.  When I checked I had many more ornaments that had the same problem.  I don't think I screwed up on that many so I'm assuming it might have happened during a Zazzle upgrade and I didn't know it happened.  I have changed several of them using the process you mentioned but since many of them have previously sold I will lose that standing in the market place since the old ones should be deleted.

That's a more vexing problem and I am not sure I have ever seen a good answer for it!
