Hello All Zazzlers!
I'm totally shocked that as of yet, E-vites subject has not yet been discussed. (smiling). With the new Q-R code option to certain products being now added, I was totally assuming that Zazzle would have made available an (E - Digital Only) section for customer purchases. So, let me finally ask my question...is there a way to create and to sell a totally electronic *digital* product without a customer purchasing a PHYSICAL product on Zazzle? I know you can easily do this on ETSY.
Thanks so much in advance for the ANSWERS. Oh, one more things, if so, what is the method in which to do this? Thanks !

Hello. I do apologize but cannot find the threads discussing this topic. Could some one please point me in the right direction. Also, I wanted to add for the sake of Zazzle production and product handling, including printing, and shipping, all the things we cannot do as designers, that it may BENEFIT everyone to ALLOW digital downloading in a way that does NOT infringe upon the rights of the designer or make room for stealing of any designs. This is the main reason that I think it would be both beneficial to us, and to ZAZZLE. We are the FACE of this company. Without designers.., but Zazzle is the hands and feet....WE NEED TO CONNECT THE FACE WITH THE HANDS please!!!
There are too many BAD REVIEWS because someone ordered seasonal items, such as CHRISTMAS CARDS that did not show up in time, and the most devistating scenerio, if one can imagine, the biggest day of their life, the WEDDING day, and their long awaited invitations got LOST or NEVER SHIPPED or SHIPPED LATE without Zazzle support noticing the issue, sending a friendly email with an option to digitally download so the customer can print somewhere else. I'm truly praying that Zazzle CUSTOMER SERVICE COMES UP ABOUT 10000 NOTCHES!!! If we all do our job and CARE about the customers, use WISDOM in business strategies, improve customer service by true SERVANTHOOD, my God, this company could SOAR!!! God I pray you do this for the sake of all of us!!!

We've discussed digital download invites on these forums (and the old one) several times. There are those creators who are for it and those who are not.

It's possible that you may find something by searching some related terms, but most of those older threads are probably in the old forums, which are no longer accessible since the advent of the new forum system, which occurred just a few months ago.

This would be a legal nightmare- most designers use commercially licensed graphics and fonts for their wedding invitations, and the licenses do not allow the digital download of designs made with those graphics. Zazzle would need a whole team of people to police this, and make sure only original artwork is used.
Even for those who use only their own artwork, it would make it even easier for thieves to steal their art.
