fabric

I have been asked by my customers to create fabric from my designs. I have done 2 so far. When I add them to the collections all you see is the close up. How do I change it when I click sell so that when a customer goes to my collections they will see a photo of the fabric not that little square?

I hope that makes sense.

Thank you

@Rena remove it from your collection then go to the product page and make sure your fabric is set to yard in the drop down

this is where you get options of different views - click on the in situ you like then re add it to your collection

If it's set as fat quarter or swatch you only get the little squares and not the full fabric view (can change in product merchandising)

I am just seeing this. I will try that today and see what happens. I will add the link to it and get you to look at it. It is the last one listed in the collection. If I scroll my mouse over the close up square then it shows the design.  Thank you very much

@Rena Once you remove it from your collection and re-add it, the collection takes time to index again. It should sort itself out with time

When I click though to the colllection- it still shows just the square close up view but when I click through it lands on the full view yard view.

Try removing it again (from the back end of your store) then go to the product page and add it to your collection choosing the yard view before you add.

That should sort it

Sara

I will try that and give it several days to see if it will show the yardage photo on the collections page. I appreciate your help.

Thank you

Sara

I can't thank you enough. It worked and they are showing up now.

It has taken me forever to get through the understanding of categories and collections. I started with collections for all of my decoupage papers. I want to do different categories for other items such as fabric, clothing, phone cases etc.

thank you

@Rena

Happy to help.

Collections are probably best for your other items too. No need to recreate new categories for them (no rule to say you can't) as Zazzle already categorizes their products but it's totally up to you how to organize your store

Good luck with your store and may you have many sales 🎉
