It already does @richard59

Go to your store - settings - advanced settings - enable google analytics - enter your G-number - submit to save and wait for data in Google Analytics

I connected to google new analytics a week ago not showing data.

My GA4 is already working, but it took me a long time to figure out the right  code to insert here on Zazzle. It’s not the really visible account number anymore.

The easiest way to get the right number is to type TAG on the search bar inside analytics for pc. It will show up something like “metrics ID” (id de métricas in my brazilian portuguese version). That’s your number. It should start showing data in 24/48h.

What I really wanted to know why the receipt (dollars sold) doesn’t show up (it already didn’t in UA)… Does it happen to everybody? I have sold a lot and no data in Analytics… 😞

Did you add the G- code to your Zazzle website?  Please note, the code does not start with GA-4 but G-
In case you have entered the wrong code, here is how you can find it:
At Google Analytic you need to select "Admin," click on "Data Stream" and then click on the website label that your created when you originally set up GA-4.
The "Webstream" window will pop-up, where you can find the "Measurement ID" which is the code you enter at your Zazzle website under "Google Tracking".
I hope this helps!

BTW:  I found out that the data in GA4 does not get updated as quickly as in the old one.  Before you could see right away if some clicked on one of your products.  Now you won't see any hits until towards the end of the day except for the 30 minutes real-time hits.

Thank you for your explanation. You helped me find the right code in the new interface. Now let's see if it start showing information. I added the whole code with the G- in front of it. Is that how you did it?

Yes, I did!  I hope it works for you!

It does work already for me also.  I don't like it as much as the old one though.  The new one is more sophisticated and it takes quite some time to figure out how to get what you want from it.

How do I find my G-number? (in GA4)

There is no box to enable Google Analytics in advanced settings.

@artimiss

Yes there is -

store settings - advance settings - scroll down and enter G number - submit to save.

It takes a few days for google analytics to start receiving data. It's not all singing and dancing data but some is better than none

I am wondering when Zazzle plans to migrate to GA4 as well. Any news from the Zazzle Team? 🙂

Hey everyone,

The team are aware of this update, but it may take some time to integrate. We hope to have an update in the new year. Apologies for the delay here.

I have tried it as well (and went right back to the old one).  I think all you have to do is put the new identifier (number) in where the old one was.  I did get data in GA4 - but as noted by WBart - I didn't find it as informative as the old one - likely bc I couldn't figure out how to use it as well.

When creating a new property if you select the advanced options slider...you can create a GA3 property only. it does warn that it will stop collecting data in June or July though.

I feel like you guys are geniuses... I'm in my Google Analytics account and can't understand anything there. It's a complete other language to me. I managed to add a G-number in my store Google Analytics, but trying to figure out all the rest, OMG. I don't know if I'll ever be able to understand any of this!

I'm with you. I don't see why we can't have an analytics program that tells us a few basic, important things, like where did the buyers come from, what search tag(s) did they use, did they buy something or not (what was it), stuff like that. That would be VERY helpful to me. And I feel like an absolute dumbbell. Not a good feeling.

How does Google analytics help you, since zazzle already offers "Last viewed " and "Total views"? I am just curious if i miss something..
