How do You Delete Product Links that were shared at Show Me?

So I have quite a few products that were shared at the Show Me and the links do not open to my store or product because the product was deleted. (all links open to the Zazzle homepage)  I would like to remove my product from the show me thread. But I do not know how to delete it.  Does anybody know how to delete posts in the Z community?

We have only that very small period of time in which to edit a post (an hour?) and even then, I'm not sure we can delete the post.

The Show Me forum is the one place we should be able to edit/delete whenever necessary.

Wow, that is hard to believe that we cannot edit or delete the shared links.  I agree with you that Z needs to update the forum, wonder if is it across the board, no edited / or delete in any category in the community?

(I see that there is an edit or delete option after you first publish a link but that goes away...for broken links like my deleted products we should be able to remove the link if we choose to, and for me, I say so many stupid things, and many of my comments from the past are embarrassing...would like to delete all of them...just saying.

you could ask a moderator to remove that post, they might help.

Was a reason ever given as to why we cannot edit/delete?  I did contact the moderator but I guess it takes time to get a response

It's possible that both the edit and delete functions can only be changed for the forum site as a whole, not individually per forum. If so, the designers of the software never thought it was necessary or never thought about it at all. In which case, Zazzle can do nothing about it. Back in the old forums, you might remember how someone would start a thread, receive the response they were looking for or changed their mind about their post, delete it, and then others would land on the thread and not know what anyone was talking about. Also, some folks would edit their post, getting rid of offensive statements, ending up with people responding to the original post and looking as if they were whacked out. What we have now is, no doubt, Zazzle's cure for such behaviors.

So it's a cure for people with bad behavior...( a reminder to think, and edit / read the comments before you reply or publish.)  Maybe the solution would be if the post is deleted then all who replied would be removed also (they do that on Facebook) it keeps the threads neat and tidy.

Many times I will write a comment that makes no sense at all . (the mind and typing aren't on the same page)  I will read it back a few days later and think, now that is embarrassing, the comment makes no sense.. But I can't delete or edit...have to live with that comment because that's Zazzle's cure for not editing, reading what you have written before hitting reply.

As for those deleted products that are in show me, they all open to the Zazzle home page...it seems wrong that we cannot remove those links.

The bad behaviors I mentioned are actually rare, and the way things are now may be a bit of overkill.
