I've made a few foil cards but I kept my designs simple with the line weights pretty conservative. 2-3 points being the thinnest. I'm designing a new collection and plan to have simulated metallic and foil options.
How fine of a line can the foil process successfully reproduce? Can it hold a hairline or .5pt weight?
Thanks!

@HeatherB I think the only way to be sure that it'll be printed to your specification to order a sample with lines on and weights so you can visually see which works best
eg
and then you'd be confident that your artwork would print on the foil successfully

Thank You! You said what I was thinking but didn't want to admit to myself. 😂
