Hello
Is there any successful way to integrate multiple zazzle shops into one website with working search feature?
Can someone show examples or guides?
Thank You 😊

@wpl That’s not necessarily true. As an example I just recently created a cat tag on Zazzle (https://www.zazzle.com/z/ouxq3f9g?rf=238748736489762753) featuring a QR Code. I pointed the QR Code to a domain I had registered years ago (I had this idea of creating a website for lost pets and then I never got around it to actually do this project but I was hanging on onto the domain). This domain just features two (right now) identical pages written in simple HTML, no database involved. Heck, the domain doesn’t even have a security certificate installed (but I will get around that one eventually). My point is it this no frill domain with just two HTML pages (http://petmap.org and http://petmap.org/luna/) displays Zazzle listings from various Zazzle stores. And the visitors of this domain do not need to have a special RSS reader installed on their device to see the Zazzle listings. Kudos goes to Mark Highton Ridley of https://niftytoolz.com because he wrote the code and I simply copied and pasted it into a HTML file to place on my domain. And my tracker tells me that some people do actually try out the QR Code and having it go to a real web page gives me a place for Zazzle referral links with a longer shelf life than they would have on Social Media (as an example on Facebook).

Do you have to manually add products or it pulls up from zazzle feed?

@wpl Initially Jim’s software pulls all public available items except rated ones - those you will have to add manually. I only added one of the rated ones, then I thought I will do the rest later (and I never did, lol).
After the initial pull you will have to trigger an automated import which is automated but you will have to request it, it won’t do it scheduled or automatically. I go in every so often to initiate the update (maybe once a week or so?).

@wpl It pulls it automatically from the feed. And the wonderful thing is that I can define the results in some degree meaning I can add a search term, set priorities (date listed, all time favorites, sold today and so fort…) which I think is super handy. Mark from Zazzle already posted the link in this thread with all the possible variables. I find it amazing what you all can do. Again, I’m just using code written by some super smart people like Mark and of course Zazzle too. Coming from eBay and Etsy I’m just so amazed about Zazzle and what it all does for us without asking for a hand and a foot for us to list here. Wished I had found Zazzle years ago.

@wpl There was a thread discussing this pretty detailed not to long ago. I’ll try to find it but can’t promise since I’m on the iPhone right now.

@wpl Found it: https://community.zazzle.com/t5/external-tools-materials/rss-feeds-discussion-beginner-to-advanced/m...
PS: I (kinda) do something similar on my site. While I only have one store I sometimes add listings from other people using Mark’s tool (https://niftytoolz.com).

so the things is you need to have rss reader on your device or else it will just show as bunch of codes
Yeah, that's what I was/am struggling with. So individuals w/ a feed reader can subscribe to content that interests them but for webmasters they're kind of useless as you can't use them on your page as a way to show viewers particular nuggets of content. I did some searching after my original post and found numerous sites that will provide you with the code to actually display live RSS feed content on your page, but they all required a not-cheap IMO subscription to their service. I did find two that were free but they required installing a snippet of php (I think it was php, might have been JS, not sure now) code in your root directory which links back to a script running on their server so that was a total no for me, too, I just don't trust that type of thing from random individuals. The third option would be learning how to construct all the coding yourself and that's well, just not something I think the average person has the time, knowledge or interest to do.
There are sites like Wordpress that let you add an RSS feed display as a widget (the viewer doesn't actually need a reader to see the content) but that's obviously not something applicable to the person with a DIY site.
So I have yet to find a plausible way to incorporate RSS feed content into a website.

Hiya WPL. And thanks to @MOM for the shout out about SnuggleHamster.com. We've got a bunch of analytical and promotional tools for paying subscribers. But we also have a bunch of free features. This is one of those. You can create your own design agency page for free and add any or all of your stores to it. For each you can click a button and it will do its best to import all your products. There are some technical limitations Zazzle's APIs have that make it so I can't import everything. See the 1k limit for one example. But there are no paywall limitations on this.
MOM is correct that once you do your first import, you currently have an ongoing task of keeping your stores up to date. The easy way is just click the "Import" button for your store after you have added new stuff and it shows up for the public in Zazzle. If you can't wait for Zazzle's indexer then you can manually import your newest PIDs. Takes a few seconds for each and is super easy.
Once you get your products imported you can set up design groups and collections. Together these serve the same functions as Zazzle's categories and collections and allow you to do some very cool tricks not possible with Zazzle.
The SHD site is fast. It gives you more control over how your content is presented. Your stores are practically guaranteed to be seen in Google searches. You get to see a bunch of useful stats. You can upload your Royalty History to view sophisticated sales reports. You get to join a great Discord community if you want to discuss SHD and Zazzle stuff. And if you like how all this stuff works and want more of the power tools or just want to support what we are doing, you can upgrade your agency to Premium for $19/mo.
