Is This Believable?

Can this pass as a cover photo? I made it in Inkscape, anyone know if these kind of images are acceptable to zazzle or will it give me a no show in the marketplace?

My only concern is that it shows a frame which some customers might think is included with the purchase.

@waterart  Yes, it's believable.
@InsideOut, You made an important point. Customers make assumptions, based on what they see and want to see, not what is stated when purchasing a product, so they might very well assume that they are purchasing something with a frame. Then demand a refund when they don't get what they saw in the mockup.

Did you notice the photo in that article has a framed poster?

Saw it before I posted the link,from a customer’s viewpoint, that may or may not have been a framed poster….Just another issue for the z team that has  to evaluate, as the influx of  covers cause possible/probable (as has been pointed out in other posts) future confusion for customers…

How can that be mistaken as being anything but a framed poster? I agree cover photos can cause confusion for the customer, as a shopper I would much rather see a good clear shot of the product without any distraction in the background, but hey, if Zazzle knows what it's doing......

Just checked the marketplace for posters and most of the cover photos have them framed.

I think it looks good.  I might raise the lamp a bit as it seems close to the chair, IMO...  The option to get the poster framed is displayed on the page so the option is presented to the customer.  There may even be a pop up or prompt asking if you would like it framed once placed into the cart...idk... haven't tried...

Go for it!

and the thumbnail for the frame option shows the cover photo. I am also noticing that product pages for posters that have a cover photo but doesn't feature a frame, don't have a frame option. It appears that the algorithm is looking for frames because even posters with borders show the frame option.

Are you saying the algorithm is reading the images somehow?

It might be the sizes of the posters that prompts the frame option. It's hard to find many cover photos that don't feature a frame. Could be a coincidence.
