Necessity of purchasing products from zazzle to get conversions on my store

Kashif61

I have been creating and posting my designs on 2-3 POD marketplaces for the last couple of years, and I have posted a lot of designs on my stores there and also on zazzle.com "Kashif_Store" as well. I think I have posted some 125+ designs on zazzle and also shared those designs on my social network as well.

My website is still under development and I am a solopreneur.

I have had participated in mega moments contest as well.

I want to know whether it is necessary to purchase some products from zazzle marketplace to get tractions.

Somebody please reply.

Regards,

Aquil

You need more products with text templates, given that the ability for customers edit to create their own text is a big drawing point for Zazzle.

Run searches on "tags" here in the forums because there's a lot of good advice on creating good ones.

https://www.zazzle.com/wishing_you_a_relaxing_and_rewarding_retirement_foil_greeting_card-2565090404... - good example of what you need to improve. Tags, for instance--

retirement, greeting card, congratulations, best wishes, retirement party, happy retirement, farewell, retirement gift, retirement celebration, retirement wishes

--you've used "retirement" 6 times, which is a waste of space for more unique tags. Once is sufficient. "Greeting card" is wasted because Zazzle adds it to the title. "Gift" is also a waste of precious space for tags since nearly everything on Zazzle is a gift. Instead, you should try to describe the design with words such as "flowers" and "graceful." Granted, it's a difficult card to find tags for, so maybe you could use variations for the idea of retirement such as "golden years," "time to relax," "done working."

The text beneath "HAPPY RETIREMENT" is almost unreadable. I enlarged it and still couldn't read a lot of it because it's somehow blurred. Things like this need to be watched out for. And inside, the card is blank. It should have at least a simple sentiment, one turned into a text template that customers can edit to suit the exact situation.

Spend time going through the marketplace, looking at what people are doing with products such as you're creating to get ideas on how you might better handle your own. I think many of us start on Zazzle making the same mistakes, and studying what others are doing can give a good path to follow. Not copy, of course, but ways of looking at we're doing.
I wish you all kinds of good luck.

Purchasing your own products is a desperate act. It will never guarantee more sales.

Please give me strategy for getting sales

There are many free resources available online to learn sales strategy on Zazzle as well as other helpful tips. Do a google search for "successful strategies to sell on Zazzle".  There is a great free podcast on this topic. We are not supposed to give web links in our forum posts, so I would just advise you to do a google search for Zazzle success strategies podcast.  There is a lot of info to learn and implement - too much for putting in a forum post.   It takes time to implement these strategies. It does not matter how many products you have or whether or not you participate in Zazzle contests. You do not have to purchase products from the Marketplace in order to make sales. I wish you much success going forward.

Thanks a lot. 😀

There is a lot of useful information on popular YouTube channels. There are more videos for Amazon Merch and Etsy than on Zazzle topics, but you can apply the information you learn about other POD videos to your Zazzle shop. Plus there are at least two paid Zazzle online courses you can purchase.

Everyone has given you a lot of great advice already @Kashif61 but I have one last thing to add.

It is not enough to read the advice you are given. You have to DO the work to get out of your bad habits. Some people catch on very quickly and see faster success. Others keep making the same mistakes over and over again and complain you can't make money on Z. There is no magic answer, everyone's experience is different.

Z is always changing and can be a harshly bumpy ride. Put the recommended changes to use and you may find your success. 🌼

Thanks, you are very right. i do have have bad habits and I need to get rid of all those habits.

Stay blessed

Many creators at Zazzle haven't achieved the "Bronze" status after being with Zazzle for more than a decade.  This means, they haven't earned $1,000 in royalty yet, even though many of them have thousands of beautifully designed products listed in their store.  So I'm not surprised you haven't made any sales after posting only 125 products.  The competition here at Zazzle is great, and if you don't advertise your product yourself or have others promote it for you, your chances of selling a lot is slim even if you have well designed product.
