How do you find the newest replies in a thread??? They are all mixed up, I have newest to oldest selected (I think) but the replies are still all mixed up with newer ones being interspersed among older ones. Isn't there a way to make it like a regular forum thread where the replies fall in order according to the date?

I tried getting used to this forum but it is such a time waster looking for stuff

The forum default is set to Threaded view. Relies to a comment are shown indented under that comment. It makes it easy to visually see the flow of the conversation but it's pretty messy if you want to go right to newest because there might be a new reply to an older comment on page one and also a new reply to a newer comment on page 3  of same thread. It makes it hard to find what/where the newest comments actually are so I gave up on that view a long time ago and instead have it set to Linear view.

Linear view lists all comments in a thread in chronological order instead of sorting them into what's a reply to what (you can still tell though). So from list of threads you can click on the "x# unread" to go right to the newest unread comment and then just scroll down to keep reading the rest of the new comments.

To change your default view, go to your forum settings, Preferences, Display, and select Linear format.

Holy Moly! I didn't even know there was a settings section - took me forever to find it! I'm gonna give the linear format a try - maybe I'll have an easier time finding things? Not holding my breath on that one since I still find this "new" forum to be completely overwhelming. Thanks for the tip though!

The Linear layout is way easier to manage I think. But after you set it to Linear, be sure to go over to the Linear Layout tab and choose Oldest First so you can jump right to newest unread comment and just keep scrolling down from there.
