Hi everyone,

I am trying to invest more time on Pinterest because admittedly I have been a bit slack - but not anymore. I am on a mission to make a consistent effort re: pins. The link below is for my pinterest store and I use it for my own work and other creator's products. So, my query is: can I use the same pinterest account to promote my own store products and the products of other creators? I am currently using the same pinterest account for promotion of my products and others and for boards which promote other creator's products, I have added a sentence regarding affiliate links. Is this alright?

My second question is: If you have the time, can you use the link below to follow me on pinterest? Forgive the brazen nature of my ask - but it is Friday! (The link below is for a new store I am trying to make of an effort with).

To answer your first question.  Yes.  It is also a good idea to have a few boards that are not product related or mix in some non product pins with your product pins.  The theme of the non product pins should fit the product theme/s.

Many thanks for your reply! At least I can use the same account for my products and promoting others which is good. Thanks for the tip about including non product but product themed pins on a board.

It is also a good idea to learn to properly disclose your affiliating efforts, either through the pin image or in the description.  There is debate on weither this is necessary as some believe that a pin that clearly shows a product is clearly advertising.... but some disagree... so do your research and then pin accordingly...
