Products tab on Public storefront issue

Is there a way to adjust the setting in the Product tab in my public facing storefront so it always show the newest product created? I have have searched all over Zazzle and no concrete answer.

There is a way to show your newest products always on your public facing store. To do this, from your store backend, select from the top menu line "settings", then select "advanced settings". Here is where you can customize what appears on your store landing page by selecting from the various sections you can display. Select what sections you want to be visible on your store page (i.e. categories, products, collections, featured collections, etc.) Select "Latest Products Created" and your latest products will be shown on your store page.  You can rearrange these sections in whatever order you want them to appear. I like to show my categories first, then follow that whatever other sections you want the public to see.   I hope this helps!

Apologies, I replied to the email and didn't realize I should reply here, Thank you for following up. I do have the setup you mentioned above but it appears on the Home tab in my store, however the next tab is Products and that's the tab I am trying to adjust what shows up. I added the link to my shop so you see what I mean -- for example, under that tab there is a filter section that I would always like to list new products first.

It always defaults to "Popular" for customers, you can't change that.

Thank you for that info, final question - If it only defaults to "Popular" what is the criteria for the designs to be listed? The design that populates first for me has 2 views only.

Many have wondered the same but I don't believe anyone knows the answer except whoever wrote the algorithm that decides it.
