I have not heard back from this customer, nor have they made a second purchase. I hope I handled it correctly.

Maybe next time just be sure to clarify that we cannot edit or see customer orders and to let them know if they'd like to edit to cancel the order and place a new one.  Will just save you some back and forth and any delay if they are in a rush.
