Removing the QR code from a flat card

Tried transferring an earlier Christmas design to another style card (the bracketed flat card).  A QR code appeared and greatly ruins the looks of the design.  I can see no way to remove it.  I checked the "remove attribution" box and I thought it had disappeared but upon the posting for sale completion, there it was and it looks awful.  Can it be removed?

Backend - find product > actions arrow > Edit Details > Merchandising options > change options > find the tick box for remove attribution > tick it > .... I have the right to post... and then it should be removed. (know that the customer can still enable it in an effort to save a few cents)

We have to post products with the attribution enabled.  You may have to do the above from the product page... I don't know if it was in this forum or the old one, but I think people had a better rate of success when doing it from the product page... although with the recent changes to the product page, who knows which will be more effective...

@PacifierCity      Thanks so much for your help.   It was stubborn--for awhile it would appear that it had disappeared only to return.  I kept going back into "edit details" and checking the "remove attribution" box and finally it seems as though it might stick this time.  Hope so--the flat cards really do not look very attractive with the QR code--not so bad on regular cards, though.  Thanks again.
