I have a number of manually made pins which I have inserted my affiliate link. The affiliate cookie lasts 45 days. My question is, if after the 45 days I revisit that product, recopy the link and then paste it over the old link, does this start the 45 day clock over again, or do I need to create a new pin from scratch with the newly copied link?
Hope I have explained by query simply enough.
Thanks

The link you place on the internet (in this case Pinterest) is evergreen... meaning it will not expire (You never need to remake the pin.) The link you create generates a cookie that is activated by the customer when they click on it. A cookie is stored on their device and that cookie expires after 45 days as long as it is not deleted or overwritten. You never need to renew a link you have placed on the internet...
