Hello All.😑
I have a specific question regarding "how to create SEAMLESS patterns using the design tool.
I'm aware on how to create this using photoshop. However, it isn't the pattern I'm having issues with, it's the 'SEAM VIEW" on the product view...
I'll post the examples below. & thanks ahead for anyone who would be willing to walk me through step by step ...
The first example is a generic DOTS attempt with a wrapping paper product template.
You will see in the "seam view, it is NOT seamless.
The second example of black and white paper, there are NO seams at all.
This is what I want to know How is this SEAMLESS achieved using "tiling centered" as seen in this product view below? Check out the SEAM view. It's PERFECT!
https://www.zazzle.com/pd/spp/pt-zazzle_wrappingpaper?dz=1d8cca6e-9827-48bf-84bd-06adfffad05d&side_n...
Thanks Again!

The seam area you refer to relates to the horizontal option in the design tool where it's difficult to match up but if you use the tile option, it should match up perfectly

Again Fellow Zazzlers..
My original question is HOW to achieve a seamless wrapping paper, or any design? Is it inside of photoshop, through titling in zazzle design tool? or both...
Please kindly walk me through the process. lol. been stuck on this for hours.
Wish there were MORE tutorials on this subject. Searched online & couldn't find
any solutions. So Thanks again!

I can't see your links but will hazard a guess.
If, in the first example, you used the Basic Tiling option and at any point you reduced the scale of your pattern using the Scale plus/minus on the left hand side of the design tool- you will notice gaps. It's best to reset tiling by pressing None and then re-tile using Centered tiling - which is happier at being scaled without gapping)
In my experience, Centered tiling plays nice with scaling - the rest does not

All you need to do is crop it to a square @nyclosangeles and it will tile ok
- the seam will not totally match up using horizontal placement for some reason... nearly

Right- I put a square stripe png at a 45 degree angle in the tile option (see attached) and made sure it was in the absolute middle and the seam was fine.
You have to make sure your donor image is square @nyclosangeles
seam doesn't quite match up but it's as near as dammit is to swearing
