Shipping Question

A friend wants a calendar and a card.  There are two separate costs for shipping.  Isn't there a combined shipping?

The shipping cost is prohibitive.  It is actually more than the sale items.  Am I missing something?

Thank you.

I couldn't edit my original post.  I know about Zazzle black, but he doesn't want to do that.

The best bet for shipping questions is to have your friend contact customer support.

According to the product descriptions, cards are made by "Zazzle Invitations" and calendars are made by "Zazzle Paper" - I don't know what that means, but maybe they are separate facilities so perhaps that's why the shipping is separate?

If by chance your friend is located outside of the US, you should make sure to have them order from the appropriate domain (.ca for Canada, .co.uk for the UK, .au for Australia etc.) so that the products are made and shipped from their own country. If someone outside of the US places an order from the .com site, it will print in the US and ship from here and it will be both slow and crazy expensive. Don't know if that's helpful or not, but it's all I know! Hope you get it sorted out!

Make sure, standard shipping is chosen. This will decrease the costs significantly. Unfortunately, Zazzle shows the more expensive premium shipping as the default in your cart (unless they changed it in the meantime) and you have to select the more affordable standard shipping manually.

I don't know how the shipping of separate items is handled but IMO it would make sense to have just one shipping fee for the whole order, no matter where the products are shipped from. This is standard in e-commerce.

What ever happened with this? I am in the same boat right now!

It's either Zazzle Black or the customer has to pay the separate shipping costs.
