Store Name Changes

I have changed the names of stores several times because I decided I liked a different name better.  When I do that the actual Store Name Changes.  However, when I design a new item and have to indicate in the dropdown box which store it will be sold in, the name doesn't update.  I then have to remember each time I make a new item what the old name was.  Is there a way to update the name of the store in both places?

Unfortunately that name will not change as it is made permanent from when you created your store's url. Changing the name on the store front will not change the original name.
