Tagging and descriptions - Zazzle site for endangered animal products

WildthingsWorldWide. My site is 40 hand drawn graphics of endangered animals across a range of products which I then give 25% of sales back to endangered animal orgs.

I know I can only use 10 tags but there's only so many variations of the word endangered I can use, which also applies for descriptions. So I dont get tagged as spam, am I better off to offer less product per animal or take off half the animals.

Repeatedly using the word "endangered" isn't tag spam. I have quite a gang of music designs targeting musicians, and nearly all those products use both "music" and "musician" in the tags. Tag spam is well represented by people using a ploy called tag stuffing where you might find "Christmas, birthday, wedding, valentine, graduation" as one tag, and then more of that ilk in the rest of the tags. I've seen worse where the person adds tags that aren't at all related to their product or design. I'm sure you're fine.

There really are a bunch of variations you can use:

  • declining species
  • at risk species
  • wildlife conservation
  • wildlife preservation
  • environmental conservation

It's ok that there's some repetition of particular words. That isn't considered spamming.

Why don’t you combine tags to avoid duplication of words? That gives you more room to add additional relevant tags. For example:

  • Wildlife environmental conservation
  • At risk declining species
  • Wildlife preservation

Uses three tags instead of five tags.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Great idea re combining words. Many thanks.
