Template

I’ve been working on my calendar and ran into a snag. I’ve uploaded artwork on the months, but haven’t finalized my choices.

I added a template to personalize the front of the calendar and now I can no longer edit any of the months. Where there once was the edit button, it says “personalize”. I’ve tried to figure this out on my own, but I’m stuck!

Hit the personalize button and at the bottom of your templates you’ll see another link to open the design tool. I believe it say something like to customize further..

Thank you so much for your reply, it provided what I needed to complete my design.

Hi PenguinPower, I seem to have a similar issue and maybe you could help...I have a completed calendar. I want to duplicate it, then change the December image only, then save as a second calendar. Zazzle help tells me to go to Saved Designs/Product Page and click on 'personalize'. I don't see a 'personalize' button - just the option to edit or to transfer design. Do you know how I find this 'personalize' button? Thanks in advance!

"Personalize" shows up if you have a template field customers can use to personalize your product. If the "Edit" button is there, you can just press that and it actually saves a step (takes you directly to the design tool instead of pressing the "Edit using Design Tool" button at the bottom of the personalization area).

Thanks Badeesie! Just want to check this...I'm a bit scared to try it: If I use 'edit' will it override my existing design and replace it? (I don't want that! I want a second version of the original) Thank you so much for your help!

No. Most of us actually can't replace our existing designs even if we want to; those who do have the replace function have to have the design reviewed first, so there would probably be a chance to request that not to go through if they did somehow hit the "Replace Product" button by mistake (which I understand only shows up after you make the edits).

So to say that if you edit your design, the sell button will come back. And if you press the sell button, you will be creating an entirely new product.
