Are we allowed to use color names in our titles and tags? Let's say for example a paint store uses "dusty pink" as a name for their color swatch and does NOT have it trademarked. And take it further to say that they're using it in their promotional materials, saying that dusty pink is their newest, latest and greatest color scheme for baby showers.
Is it ok to use 'dusty pink' in our titles and tags in this situation, or do we need to do something more generic like just using 'pale pink'?
Thx!

Only names that are trademarked - ie by Pantone - this thread may shed more light https://community.zazzle.com/t5/ask-a-question/can-we-use-pantone-color-names-in-titles-and-tags/m-p...
Dusty pink meanwhile is widely used, I am not aware of any problem with it.

Dusty pink is a very common color name, describing the actual color, so I don't think they can trademark or copyright that. If they were to call it something more original like Babygirl Blush, maybe you would have an issue.
