New product creation not visible in products, only visible/findable in Collection it was added to

I have been creating products for a few months now with no issues with all being displayed on my Products page immediately after creation and eventually published to my store. Yesterday I created one new product and also one new one today, neither are showing on my "Products" page. I have the view set to "Newest to Oldest". When I created them, I added them to a Collection. Navigating to that collection I can see them but that is the only way to find them. Does anyone know why they are not shown in Products? Thanks!

Are you looking at the public view of your products? Or are you looking at your store view? Public view line has been clogged for a week or so now, so it may just be a matter of waiting a day or two. 

I also do Postcrossing!

I'm looking from my store management view (back end) on the Products tab, with the view set "Newest to Oldest". These two new products are only visible in the Collection they were added to and are visible in both my view and the public storefront view.

@jms if the product is the new type of water bottles - tech team know about the issue (not sure when it'll get fixed though)
