So I check the insights on one of my newish products. It tells me nothing other than no one is viewing my stuff. No this is what you are doing wrong or anything like that. It uses my new strategy of keywords and I guess that's not working per usual. Not sure what the purpose is tbh. I keep accidentally clicking on this thinking it's edit details. What am I doing wrong?

Same here, clicking insights when was supposed to click edit, oh dagnabbit.
For better “insights”, try using one of your older product with more mileage, then adjust to 365 days. You should get some useful data then.

The data that it gives you is based on views and sales. If you pick something that has neither, you won't get any data. As idraw says, pick something with lots of views. You get data even if there were no sales but you get a comparison of views vs. sales if it has both. Then change the dropdown to 365 days (it doesn't analyze older than that). It will tell you if customers found your product via Zazzle or from offsite (promotion, google search). It will tell you some common keywords they used. But if customers haven't found your product then it can't tell you anything.

My older products get views because they are from when zazzle had better algorithms and stuff was findable. I was hoping to figure out what I do wrong with newer designs. Like my best sellers are 8 year old things with a terrible description and really basic keywords, I try that these days and nope. I will try switching it to 365 I had no idea you could do that. I wish they would give a guide to improving marketplace value when you an artist or designer not an SEO programmer type.
