WHEN CREATING A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

Best to start a new Facebook account?  Best to create a new Business Facebook account?  Or stay with an already old and not too well used Facebook account?

What social media connects give you the best bang for the buck?

I did some research on this when I was considering shutting down some of my socials, and the studies say Pinterest is the best social network for selling. My own experience confirms that as I've only ever made sales on Pinterest. I have since shut down my FB, Insta and Twitter accounts since they're not worth the time and effort. I'd recommend taking a look at niftytoolz.com for a tool that helps with pinning Zazzle products. I'm not in any way affiliated with the product and have no incentive to recommend it, I just found it really useful. There is a steep learning curve though, but Mark (the developer) is very helpful. Good luck!

Thx for info.  niftytoolz.com?  Looks like they take 50% referral fee? Per sale?   Thats a lot of money to pin your post to three social media sites.  Am I understanding this correctly?

The 50% refers to an option where half of the pins will have your associate code and the other half will have Mark’s. You earn the full referral on all pins with your code. If you pay the monthly subscription fee ($8 I think). You get 100% of the referral fees on all pins. The 50/50 split allows you to try out the tool before subscribing, but I made enough in month 3 to cover my subscription fee, so thats when I subscribed. Of course you don’t ever have to subscribe and can stick with the 50/50 option, although I’m not sure why anyone would.

If you use the free version of the Nifty tools then there is a 50/50 split on whose referral link is attached to what you post.  If the things with your rfid sell more often, then it works out in your favor.  If the ones with the Nifty folks rfid sell more often then it works out in theirs.  But if you are only promoting your items then you will always get your royalty no matter whose rfid is attached.

As someone who promotes a great many products, I quickly decided to subscribe to Nifty and have been a subscriber for more than a year now.  Mark, the developer is super helpful and I personally have easily paid for my subscription every month.  Mind you it will probably take 3 or so months of use before you start earning from it... depending on how you use it and the following you have at various socials.  So you could potentially start earning very quickly too.

Just an FYI, for what it's worth.

is nifty jus a conduit to post your social media to three media platforms at once? or more than that?

Hi @ZAZKAT - I'm the author of the Nifty tools. The best way to get a feel for it is to try it, even if just briefly. Here's a link to a quick tutorial that gets you a speed-sharer in just 4 clicks.

Depends what you want to sell and whether you have a following, or a good hope of creating one. I have seen a few instances where the Zazzler has an active interest in something and is able to use Facebook to connect with people who share that interest and then is able to market to the people who are interested in that niche.

I also do Postcrossing!
