Where is the standard postcard?

The standard postcard, not the holiday or invitation sort, seems to be suddenly missing from the blank templates. Can anyone find it? It's the one I use most often, and I sure don't want "Holiday" or whatever appended to a generic sort of card.

When I choose "create product" and type in the search bar "postcard", the standard postcard is the first one that shows in the array of postcards. https://www.zazzle.com/z/adk2jon2

Hmm... I've never done a search for postcards because the standard card has always sat there in the top row. I guess it's been demoted, though without running through all the cards will I know how severe the demotion might be. Going there right now to find out.

I clicked on your link, and it doesn't go to the standard postcard, so I ran through all 4 pages of templates, but the standard card isn't anywhere. From now on, I'll have to edit one of my postcards to create a new one.

Given that the lineup has changed to include newer items, I'll bet they somehow misplaced the plain vanilla cards.

Try this, Barbara:
In your store backend choose the "products" tab.
Click on the blue button that says "Create New Product".
In the search box that appears, type in "postcard".
The standard postcard should appear first in the list of available postcards. I see 3 of them in this order; standard, holiday, and gold foil.

That's precisely what I did until the search box, into which I typed "standard postcard. Trying again, but simply with "postcard"... Nope, the first is a postcard with an envelope, then comes holiday, foil, and then six magnets followed by other sorts of cards, but no standard one.

That one also leads to a postcard with an envelope, but I chose it anyway and discovered you could opt out of the envelope, which works for me as long as I remember to opt out. It's the same one I see when using the search.

So, it appears they've dropped what has been up until now the card that's without an envelope by default. It's an odd thing to do, given that a postcard has been for many years a single entity with space on the back for a message, an addressee, and a stamp.

Rather than going through the trouble of editing one of your existing postcards, you  also have the option of finding one of your existing postcards and visiting its product page. Scroll down to the About Postcards section and click "create your own from scratch".

Excellent thinking! And it may be better than trying to remember to turn off the envelope option, not remembering, and having to edit it.
