Will changing Cover photo ruin editor's pick?

Recently one of the new products got Editors pick and I am really happy since its my first!

Although i don't like the mockup and got some new ones, so will changing the cover photo affect the ranking?

I don't think so. I've gotten some editor's picks that didn't have cover photos so I gave all of them a cover photo and nothing was affected.
