Thanks James!

PSA for designers - check your heart shape stickers. The ones I have are way off. (and you may have to redo your promos)

When you submit sticker designs for review, where can you see a list of them? I can see them in 'Saved Designs', but they're not in the 'Under Review' window. Should they be there? I've only done a few so far, but I hope I'm doing it correctly. Also, are the original designs still available for sale while the revised designs are under review? And, how do we know when they've been approved? Thanks!

When you use the Replace feature, make sure you put a temporary bookmark to the sticker. Why? Because there's no notification as to whether or not the item was reviewed and if it "passed." The only way to know is to find the sticker in question to see if your changes have taken effect. I often forget about bookmarking and then have to search all over for the item. If, when you find it, it has a dark screen over it, you'll know it's still under review. If it looks normal but has the change, it passed review. If it's still just as it was before you changed anything, it was skipped over in the process. Very, very awkward.

Thanks, that's really helpful 😊

Do you know if the designs that appear in the 'Saved Designs' window are duplicates that can be deleted? Or do they disappear once the design is approved? Thanks for your help.

I quite often go into Saved Designs, select all, and delete them without a drop of harm. They seem to be nothing more than thumbnail duplicates with links to the actual product pages.

Any products that have been submitted successfully will show a Grayed out mask with "Design changes pending Review", as seen below. There isn't a way to group these together right now I'm afraid, but we will hopefully change that in future iterations of this feature. Barbara's suggestion below might work to help you keep track, or keeping a list of the URL's somewhere like an excel sheet.

Thanks James. I've just noticed some of the designs I submitted less than an hour ago, have lost their 'gray mask', which means the review is complete. But my changes haven't been made. The only change I'm making, is reducing the whole design size, to avoid artwork/borders/text being cropped too close to the 'finished print area'.

Here are a couple of examples of designs that have not had my changes accepted:

I'm a bit confused now about what I can do with the 'Product Edit'. Many of my designs look like they need shrinking a bit, so that they fit safely inside the template as before.

I’ve dealt with this before. They are either still pending for approval but lost the grey-out image or they have been approved and the previews haven’t refreshed yet. Give it at least a day and check them again 🙂

Thank you! I hope that's what's happened.

Yes you're right! Some of the designs I revised look OK now, so hopefully the others will soon 😊

Update! Some of the designs I revised look OK now, so it must just be a delay with the previews, as Natalia said. Thank you 😊

While our reviewers might be lightening fast, the system still needs time to index your changes. This normally happens within 24 hours. 😊

James,

If I have a design that has full bleed, yet the main subject is within the safe zone, would that product/design need to be altered? In other words does the bleed need to be within the safety zone also? Are you wanting all stickers to have no-bleed?

After re-reading that, it sounds like an ignorant question. But, if I was a novice at this, I would want the answer to it.

Thanks,

I can probably give the answer: The safe zone indicates the area beyond which you're best off not having text or important parts of the image. Anything else such as a polka-dot pattern in the background can bleed right off the edges if you so wish.

Barbra, that's what I thought. I wasn't sure.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I have added some examples and a link to our post for better guidance for your stickers. Check it out!

Some of the sticker designs I submitted about two weeks ago for 'Replace Product' have not been updated yet. There are two different designs, each with color variations. The only modification I made was reducing the overall size of the design to prevent the borders from being cropped too closely to the 'finished print area'.

Here are the designs:

I see the 'Replace Product' feature is still available just for my stickers. Should I submit them again? Thanks 🙂

Hi @SheaPrints ,

It looks like these were rejected. You need to have all design elements bar colored background inside the green dotted line, not on or passed it. so in your examples above the blue and white borders are outside or on the green dotted line.  I would review and resubmit again.

Thanks James. Yes you're right, my borders did cover the green dotted line. I'll review and resubmit them. Thank you!
