Changing "primary" also changes entire collection display order

Just notice this as I was tinkering to get the holiday RealView to work.

I go into, say, gift tags, for example. I decide I want green to be my primary product instead of the red that was there. What happens after I do that is that it makes it the very first product in my collection. I've seen that happen several times today in 3 separate collections. I have the photo cards as my first products in all my collections and when I've gone back today, I see the tag that I made my primary tag or the wrapping paper I swapped is now the first product. It shouldn't cause the whole thing to rearrange like that. Or anything to move at all - there seems to still be some bugs getting arrangements to stick.

Should I move this to the technical issues thread? I didn't want to hijack the Holiday RealView thread with this tangent issue.

Hi @Lea,

I'm very sorry to hear that you're experiencing an issue here. We'd be more than happy to take a closer look for you. Can you provide a link to the Collection that displays this error?

Thanks,

Pádraig

This is one that I noticed it on. It's currently displaying correctly but I can see if the problem can be re-created.

OK here - I just made a different wrapping paper the primary color and then the collection immediately displayed with it as the first product -

Hi @Lea,

Thanks for providing that example. I have highlighted this with our Team for you now so we'll investigate further.

Thank you for your patience!

Thanks for posting that, I noticed the collection order was changing but didn't make the connection with changing a primary product. Hopefully, it will be sorted now!
