Collection (Main Store Change)

Is there a way to change the 'main store' of a collection to a proper store?

For example, I have several shops and I want to move my Xmas collections to my Xmas Store.

The store that shows in the icon has nothing to do with Xmas.

Even though It is ticked to show the collection in other stores, does it really matter?

It states that once a store is set, it cannot be changed, but these collections were made years ago and I don't remember how it ended up  with this shop as it's main.

Christmas socks collection shows IGYB Store:

I have a few collections with the same issue that I'd like to change.

Should I just create new collections to put them where I want them or does it matter for customer searching purposes?

Thanks for any hope

@gravityx9 I would create new collections and have the store that you want them to appear in selected as the main one. But then again - if it's all about collections being at member level, why bother changing them. I've noticed with cross sell collections, the member profile is highlighted more than the store it's from so who knows. 😂

Not sure how collections are going to feature in the future (don't have my crystal ball) and more than likely will evolve over time once A/B testing results kick in so we all have to be very fluid so to speak.

As long as you have a cover photo for your collection, and the title/description and keywords are all relevant then you're good I think

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, especially about the cover photo. I need to think about, if its a me problem with organization things, OCD or if it will help increase sales/be found in searches by customers.
