It says I can't add a product to my collection because it already exists in a store

I designed a product, clicked on "sell it" and through that product page, created a new collection. Once finished, it wouldn't let me post because it said that collection already existed in a store.  I went to my store and I see the collection there, all empty.  Why can't I add it? Is it because it has an identical name to one someone else may have in their store? Do I need to change the name? If I do, how do I edit the name? Can a creator have the same name on a collection as someone else? I am confused. 

I did refresh and tried to go back to my product to try to add it to my collection and it doesn't pop up at all.

If you just created a new collection, it may take some time to get indexed. If you have more than one store, and have the same named collection connected to that other store, that might be the other reason it won't let you post the new collection. I don't believe it has anything to do with other shopkeepers and their collections, so eliminate that from your confusion list.

Thank you! Not sure what was going on. I waited until the next day and I still couldn't add anything. I ended up deleting the empty collection and re-doing it again. I was able to add items then. Thank you again for your time!
