Please allow us more control over collection covers and RealViews on the product page

First of all, I totally understand and am on board with the goal here - to show customers that there are additional matching products in the collection, but I think the way it's being implemented could use some improvement.

The current system makes a lot of sense for small collections where most of the products can be shown in a single cover image. But most of my collections (and I'm talking wedding cross-sell collections here) have well over 100 items in them. At most, I can feature 5-6 items in a cover image, and even there, things are starting to get really small - especially if you want to use the collection cover in marketplace search. So, when the collection image is shown on the product page in the list of product previews, it might be helpful for the handful of products shown in the collection cover, but for the vast majority of the products in the collection, it seems like it will just confuse the customer to be shown an image that does not include the product they're viewing. That's especially true if the cover shows a different style of the same product.

I think this feature could be much improved by allowing us more control over how the images are displayed. For example, if I upload 5 covers for a collection it would be great if I could choose which of those 5 (or none at all) that would be shown on the product page, so the customer is shown the one that actually includes the product in question and not simply the first one in the list.

The same is true for the RealViews. Let's say my collection has 15 different styles of wedding invitations - all using the same artwork. The system just pulls the first invitation from the list, rather than showing the customer the style they're looking at with accompanying products. So if the customer is interested in the formal nuptial mass version of the invitation, and the system shows them the casual "nothing fancy, just love" version - how will that do anything other than confuse them about which invitation they're actually looking at? Seems like the RealView should populate with the style they're looking at.

As it currently stands, I'm really hesitant to spend much time creating collection covers or implementing the RealViews because it seems like for the vast majority of products I'll be doing more harm than good.

Just my 2 cents...

the implementation needs A LOT of improvement! It is WAY too confusing for the customer to see an image with a collection of products when they are looking for one specific product, such as an invitation. The Marketplace looks like one jumble of clutter, and each individual product on the cover photo is too small to stand out as the product they are searching for!

So far, Zazzle has made a lot of good changes, but they really need to listen to us! It would be clear enough to the customer that there is a matching collection with just that little banner at the top of the product image, saying "View Collection".
