As I'm going through my collections I see the primary store for a few of them are in the wrong store. And it says you cannot change the primary store. Do I need to delete that collection and redo it in the store I want it shown in as default?
ie:
Select the store you want this collection to be associated with in the marketplace
Note: this setting cannot be changed after the collection has been created

Hi @OrchardBerry,
I'm very sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue here. Firstly, I moved this post to "NEW!!! Collection Types Information" so that we can easily identify and collect all feedback and issues related to the update to Collections. Do you mean that some of your collections are associated with a different, incorrect store since the update to Collections? Can you provide a link to a Collection exhibiting this issue and confirm what store it was in before the update?
Thank you for your patience!

I'm in the middle of "moving" products to a new store and I hadn't gotten around to changing all the default stores in the old collections. So in the new collections I have the default store automatically set to my old store and I don't see a way with this new system to change that other than to delete the collection and start a new one. Correct?

have you tried using the Zazzle channels on the collection edit page? I think if it is in "ready to merge" status you can select the store(s).

I tried that but it doesn't change the default store unfortunately.

The default store for some is already set in stone 😫, yet for others you have to decide. It warns you if you have items from multiply or different stores. But then you have to search through to find the products by click and viewing each one, to see what store they are in. That is a pain, would be good if they were highlighted? You then deleted or duplicate into the same store those ones you want so it is then it is all good and all the items are displayed. If you don't do this the items from other stores just get removed automatically, a pain then to find them all again or know what is missing.

Hi. I think I have the same problem as @OrchardBerry, or maybe very similar. And I think I shouldn't make a whole new post somewhere else for my question? I hope that's right. My situation is: I created a new store as a spinoff of a "group" of products that were in another/the original store. So in the new store I've been creating new products from this group, AND I set the products in the original store to be shared with the new store. Now the new store has collections of products that include the original/shared ones, as well as its own new products. BUT in the new collections setup, they are associated with the old/original store in the marketplace. (This is REALLY hard to put in words.) I think I've been reading in other posts that what I did is now not allowed? Is my only option to delete these products from the original store and recreate them in the new store? @OrchardBerry , I'm sorry to hijack your thread, but I THINK we are both looking for the same answer from Padraig.

Me too! I was in the process of creating a new store for paper products and use the old one for only my home decor items. When the change was made some of my collections (that need to be in the paper store) defaulted to the home decor store. And the only way I see to fix it is to recreate everything -- more than 200! Can we just have the checkbox back for each store?

Set to just one store, but for now still visible in the other (previously) selected store?
https://www.zazzle.com/collections/photo_frame_magnets-119484091815005614
Referral link not visible any more either, so I guess we can forget about earning a referral as well.
I really don't like that you cannot choose multiple stores any more and also not change the store.
Do we need to make duplicate collections?
I hope this gets fixed.

Yes agree, I have a few items that run between stores but really need to be together 🤔 but can't anymore. I am now having to duplicate items so they can be in both store collections. That certainly isn't ideal... It would be good if we can shift the products between stores rather than creating them again if we can't have items in collections between stores. I don't really want to duplications as that get confusing for me and the customers. It seems only cross-sell id affected by this? Although I am not completely sure.
