The New Product Page Layouts are Spectacular!

I can see them on some of my products now and it is truly amazing. I love it! Great job. I don't know what else I will see, but I am very excited at all the possibilities. Well worth all of the work. I think this will truly give Zazzle a big competitive edge.

The collection really does have pride of place, doesn't it? Such an upgrade to the product page. I hope this layout expands to other types of collections too.

I think this is just part of the testing. So we'll probably see different layouts or none. I hope this will expand to all products too. Now that I can see what they are going, I feel a lot more confident in my cover images for both products and collections.

Question—To see the changes on your product page, do you have to view the product page from the back end or from the front end? So far, I don’t see changes on either page.

Either one. You can see it on other people's products in the MP too. However, it is only on one collection type so far. Specifically, you will only see it on a cross sell collection that has recommended products.

Oh my - I'm so far behind on this! What is a collection banner - and do you have to have one on the collection for this new display to take place?

I agree that they're wonderful and make it SOOOO much easier for the customer to find the collection. Has anybody tried viewing them on a phone? Just wondering if it's the same as what I see on my desktop PC.

Hi -- I just went into my public view and I can see the ones that I've done and they aren't weddings.  Very interesting.

I was checking my new wedding collections with cross sell chosen and wondering why I didn't saw the new style. Looks like atm I only see it when checking it in a private window (not logged in). So for those that only see the old collection pod style, you can try that.

It looks great, so much more focus on the collection, and as far as I can see no more "you might also like .." leading customers away from your design.

Wow! Phenomenal work Zazzle! Now that we can see how our collections will actually look, it makes all our initial confusion and extra work well worth it! 🙂

I'm sure planning and developing this new way to showcase our collections was a huge endeavor.

So what exactly are you seeing?
I've migrated and checked all of my collections. Made sure there is at least a banner in place, but done nothing else i.e. not done any of the 10 images. I don't have  any wedding collections...so based on this what am I supposed to see??

Here's what I'm seeing. This is for a cross-sell wedding collection. Directly under the product, you can pan through all of the other products from that category within the collection (in this case, enclosure cards.) Then below that it shows you the "collection pod" which displays cover images for that collection (I don't see banners anywhere, just covers) and then other categories from that collection. If you click on the see more button it shows you all of the categories for that collection. I have no idea where banners are supposed to go, nor do I know how a customer would get to the collection page independently - like not viewing it on the product page just opening it by itself.

The banner will show at the top of the actual collection page, just like it always has.

The Collection "Cover Photo" will be visible on Product Pages, as you've noted above.
