Quick Create Products take a week or more to post

Hi, I previously spent a lot of time creating product templates for my designs, as I am sure many others have as well. It generally takes a day or so to post however for the last few weeks it is now taking a WEEK or MORE for products to post. Obviously this is beyond frustrating and certainly has a negative effect if you are trying to squeeze in any upcoming holiday designs. I don't know if this is a known issue but I would love for someone from tech to look into this and how to resolve it as quickly as possible.

yea ill come back a week and a half later, i already got two or three other things going on. then i gotta stop to catch up with 70 products, tags, whatever i need to do to each product. put them on pinterest. it throws you all out of whack, its not fun

Exactly! I hope they get this resolved soon! Waiting the 24 to 48 hours before was bad enough.... this is just crazy!

Quick Create has always been slow to post.  It is because the products have to be reviewed by a person.  The only thing quick about it has ever been that you could make more than one product at a time.  I stopped using it years ago because when you make one at a time they go into the MP much faster and you can promote them right away.

Hey all,

I'm sorry to hear of the delays you are experiencing with Quick Product Create at the moment. Our team are working through these deigns as quickly as possible currently. Thanks for flagging this with us, I'll make our team aware of this also.

Thanks for your patience,

Pádraig.

The fact that I have been uploading new designs on a daily basis and none of these products has appeared in my stores since 30 April would indicate that the team viewing quick create items simply can't cope

Hi, is this issue being worked on from Zazzle's back end? Any updates as to when this will be resolved so items post in a timely manner? This problem was raised a month ago and there seems to be no improvement at all thus far.

2 and a half weeks ive been waiting for my products to come thru

Same here, despite posting products regularly, the most recent was "created 30 April" which means date reviewed, more like 20 April. 21 designs overdue, plus 5 more which should have appeared by now if it only takes 24hrs to appear.

I also note that the z rank of several of my stores has reduced despite trying to improve them

I can't speak to the Z rank but this exceptionally long wait is very frustrating and I hope we keep this thread active to keep this issue in the forefront of Zazzle's mind.

Lately the wait for products made one at a time is longer than usual too.  But it is not due to the human reviewing process.  Indexing is slow right now for some reason also. This probably puts a double whammy on you guys who use QC.  It means that if you are designing for occassions with time factors such as holidays or graduation you need to start super early if you want your designs to hit the MP in time for it.  Otherwise just count them as being for next year and make sure any date templates are 20XX instead of the exact year.

Great advice Shelli, it can certainly feel defeating. I always did one by one for a long time but finally a few months back put the time and effort into creating my templates and started using quick create. There's benefits to both sides and I am an anxious person so even waiting the usual 24 to 48 hours before was challenging lol. Due to becoming so busy in life over the past year QC seemed like a way to better use my time but i'm gonna start turning grey a lot faster if they don't get things moving for all of us in both formats again! lol

My blood pressure couldn't handle it and I didn't like having to promote everything all at once.  At least with one at a time you can promote it right away even if it isn't published to the MP yet.

@Pádraig

i  got some of my products from april 20th, but i still have more, over 200 products or more still coming. all made on april 20th. itll be a month ive waited tomorrow

kennethwfd

QC seems to be at a complete standstill, with some 25 designs and around 450 products likewise going back to April.

Started to go back to my designs and create an individual product that can then be transferred to other products. At least I'm learning about Zazzle's product range and my designs are appearing immediately

A breakdown of my recent QC products between 23 April and 10 May is that nos. 6 and 7 on my list appeared on 10th May, after uploading 5 designs 10 May decided to give up on QC until the situation improves.

Hence my previous question, are products failing to upload? I never see the product numbers, just "your products have been queued" after  hitting the "post it" button

Very sorry for the delay here. The team responsible for reviewing Quick Create submissions is quite busy. Their priority is catching up on QC submissions, so hopefully we'll be in better shape very soon.

All my designs up to 6 May now showing, outstanding are 5 designs from 10 May and one from 16th

Thanks

Hi Scott, this has been going on still for 4+ months now. Is anyone actually working on this issue bc there doesn't seem to be.

Has anyone done a Quick Create recently? I'm wondering what the current turn around time is for items to show up as published?

Mine are currently backed up 10 days to 14th August.

Thanks... I'm waiting a bit longer than you. (Submitted on Aug 8th.)
- I didn't load yesterday, but I've been trying to load at least once a day so I can tell when they kick in again and/or if my submitted designs are lost in cyberspace. I think the hardest part is deciding whether to send again or not (because Zazzle doesn't show us what is waiting).

When I asked in a FB group, someone else was about ~4 days ahead of me. They'd been waiting 20 days, and the post was a few days ago, so my estimate for them would be waiting since ~Aug 1 or so.

So, I will keep waiting, will not resubmit, and only submit new. (nothing showed today)
- Thanks for replying. It helps to know.

CreativeLeahG

Definitely do not resubmit as you will not only double their workload but you will have duplicates. They won't know you submitted the same batch twice.

Well yeah - reposting is not really my plan, although I do think I've had some lost in cyber space in the past.

The only way I can monitor it now is to try and send something new every few days, and if one of those goes live, then I would know the rest was lost. And if I see this, then I'd probably would give it a few extra days to see if old ones show up, and then consider a repost.

(I figure it's like the "unclogging a drain" thing that was mentioned in the thread where even single postings were no showing live - https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/how-long-for-new-products-to-show/m-p/34168. Hopefully QC gets unclogged next.)

Someday, maybe Zaz can show us "items in queue" or something. It would be useful.

Here's a tip so you can easily keep track ... for every qc set  before publishing go to 'customize' for at least one product. That product will then be visible in your 'saved items'. This way when that item 'disappears' you should note it has then been published. Meanwhile you can keep track of all your QC lists via the one design from each list via your saved folder.

Any news when QCs will be processed again please?

@Scott

Designs sent 8/8 came thru on 8/25 but I was waiting to see more before posting back in here.
- Designs sent 8/9 have not come thru yet, so maybe a lot of people sent on 8/8?

It's not so much the delay, but knowing the time frame delay that is important.
- When we know the delay, we can plan. I mean even if it was 60 days, then at least we know to work 3 months ahead to get indexed and possible pick up by affiliates.

tracytrends
New Contributor III

So I already posted that designs submitted 8/8 came thru on 8/25.
Designs submitted 8/9 came thru on 8/30, taking five calendar days longer.
Designs submitted 8/10 are not thru as of today (8/31) so it is not a day-by-day appearance/approval.

I don't plan to update this thread again.
- I think we've solved the question of: 1) Are they going thru - answer is yes and 2) How long does it take? - answer is that it can be 3 weeks or longer. Best practice is to wait, definitely not resubmit, and definitely plan ahead when using QC.

CreativeLeahG

@Scott are you able to let us know what the backlog length is?  is it 3 weeks? Thanks

I have around 50 pages in the queue and am anxious to begin promotions on them

One of the drawbacks of Quick Create is that it can take some time for products to appear in the marketplace. This delay is because we have a team review each submission to ensure Quick Create submissions are free of quality and content issues. The team responsible for reviewing QC submissions is also responsible for a variety of other tasks, so there is sometimes a bit of a delay in QC submissions being reviewed. Leadership is aware of the backlogs, and the team is hoping to be caught up as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, I don't have any updates beyond this.

Moving this to the Create Products board since there are no technical issues present.

Thank you Scott

For people with a long history (years) of NO issues re QC, is it possible to automate the process to save team workload issues and delays?

Faheem

I've the same problem, I posted my designs over a month ago but still they are not posted yet I don't know why and how zazzle system work but for designers it's totally frustrating.

tracytrends
New Contributor III

As far as I can tell, they are still processing designs from 8/10.
- I have a design from 8/10 that came thru 9/2, but another sent 8/10 that is not processed. Nothing sent 8/11 has come through on any of my accounts.

I'm only updating here so at least the forum readers don't begin double-sending. I wish Zazzle would keep their little message up to date on processing times, because I worry that people not in the forum will re-send. They will think they did it wrong or it was lost in cyberspace.

As far as Zrank goes (mentioned above), it probably does go down if you use QC because you're adding a bunch of new, unsold items to your store. I think sold/live ratio plays a role in our Zrank.

Anyone have anything come thru that was submitted on or after 8/11?

CreativeLeahG
Honored Contributor III

Still nothing published but 2 pages of designs mysteriously disappeared.

8/11/22 came thru today.... on 9/11/22
- so maybe yours are about to come thru? (maybe they are "in between" -- like in publishing status so they moved/disappeared.)
--- fingers crossed for you.

CreativeLeahG

yes I think you were right.. they were in the 'upside down' 🙃

Mine are being published now, delay was 5-6 weeks.

Thank you for publishing 😊
