Small Design Area for Balloons

When I open the design area, I have a tiny design circle in the middle.

If I try to stay in the lines, the balloon looks ridiculous because it’s a big, white balloon with a teeny, tiny design in the middle.

If I make the ballon preview look normal, the design is WAY out of the design circle.

Am I just not understanding how to design a balloon or do I have a glitch? 😂😂😂

I believe the circle denotes the area that will be free of absolutely all distortion….. the print extends way further, but may have wrinkles in it due to the construction. The ‘safe’ area on paper plates is similar. Note though, that only the smallest size (if I am remembering correctly) balloons have edge to edge print. The medium and large ones do have a white border.

Thank you! That makes complete sense!!! I knew there had to be something going on with my understanding of the design area! And paper plates are on my list, so that’s great to know! I appreciate you! 👍🏼
