swatch, fat quarter, 1 yard

How do you set up your fabric for each one they offer, swatch, fat quarter, 1 yard.

I did the 1 yard, had a customer order a fat quarter and she only got a part of the image.

Top image was what it was suppose to be but when she got the fat quarter in it is the second image.

I am a green horn on this and thought I had it figured out. How do you set sizes for each one. The

swatch, fat quarter, and 1 yard.

I have searched everywhere for a how to but can't find anything. I am at my wits end.

I would so appreciate if someone can head me in the right direction.

Thank you

Rena

@RenaI've always set mine up as tile-able patterns so not sure how one piece of artwork would work and how you would get the size right.

I suppose you would set your tile size to the size of the yard?

Set it as this size only in the product merchandising to avoid it happening in the future

the artwork doesn't scale with the size of fabric chosen

OK what I will do is set up for fat quarters and set as only and then set up for 1 yard as only.

How silly to have to do that but I will do what ever it takes, or at least for not.

I think what I will do is tell customers if they want fabric, which do that want.

Thank you so much for your help

 Rena,

Good to do just that. When I make fat quarter kits, cut and sew dolls, toys, etc., I make sure I put it on fat quarter, then make sure you have basic and raise the tile size to 27" by 18" and after all that make it 'this size only'. If they want a yard, it will have four of them per yard.

Have fun!

I hate the way the fabric is set up. Just give me a dang rectangle and a ruler, Zazzle. Why is this so hard?

I totally agree
