Zazzle's royalty calculator lets you choose either a product price or a royalty rate and will change the other value accordingly, and shows you "royalty you will make". That figure has proven unreliable as it doesn't take into account the deduction if the sale is referred, sometimes it seems to be taking current sales into account, and sometimes it's just plain wrong for no logical reason. I got tired of "running the numbers" all the time trying to figure out how a royalty would shake out after fees and discounts when deciding what to set one at. And doing the same after a sale, trying to make sense of the very limited info shown in the royalty report. So a while back I made a spreadsheet to figure it all out for me. My spreadsheet can't determine the product price if you enter a royalty or the royalty if you enter a product price like Z's calculator does. You need to pull those two numbers from the Z calculator and enter them in the spreadsheet, and then everything else will be broken down for you: Now you can see all your various earnings scenarios, the amount of fees deducted, and can even enter a discount % to see what you'd earn when the item is on sale. You can also enter a quantity to see what you'd earn on a bulk sale, handy for say invites or other things were people usually by more than one. After a sale, you can plug in the subtotal they paid and the royalty % applied from the royalty report to "check the math" and see why the royalty paid might have been less than expected. In this example, $144 x 18% is $25.92, more than the $19.44 shown on the report. So I plugged the $144 and 18% into the spreadsheet and aha - it's a match for a third-party sale after the referrer fee and transaction fee were deducted. Now, i also know this item has a list price of $15. $15 x 12 is $180. So what discount they they get to arrive at the $144 subtotal paid? This time I entered my royalty, the list price, and quantity purchased, and then guessed the discount was either 15 or 20%. So I entered 20% in the spreadsheet and aha - yep, they had a 20% discount on this order. So you can use this in a lot of ways, before and after a sale, with no math required. There are only four fields you can enter numbers in: product price, your royalty %, and an optional discount and/or quantity. All other fields are calculated for you, and are also locked so you can't accidentally change/erase the formulas in them. (You can unlock the sheet though if you want, I set it so no password is required to do so.) This is what the actual sheet looks like: It's two calculators side by side so you can easily compare two different rates, or a list price vrs a sale price, or a single item vrs in quantity. My sheet can't account for getting dinged for when customers use secondary content in your design (that's just too convoluted a situation) or the 5% mess when User Options are applied to the pay out. But other than those two unpredictable sales situations, this is a pretty handy tool for helping decide on a royalty rate and figuring out our earnings after a sale. You can download it from this link, free, no-strings-attached. (If you find it useful, I wouldn't mind if you wanted to share/promote one of my products in return though. 😉 ) www.colscreations.com/SharedFiles/EarningsCalc.xlsx

The first step to create best sellers on Zazzle is to produce intentional designs that serve the customer, are unique to attract the customer’s attention, and are easy for the customer to use in order to complete their order. Easier said than done.❤️ But my daughter, Jen Clarke, and I are Zazzle Designers who have had multiple best sellers and know how lucrative it can be (and how good it feels) That is why since 2017 we have coached thousands of students on how to create intentional designs which have resulted in successes like: 30%-50% of the products on any Zazzle popular sort or landing page are products from our students 2. $95 million in sales in 2024 combined from the students who have shared their results with us 3. People who had no design skills to start have reached Diamond or higher in 4 years We invite you to our FREE Design Week Event - May 19 - 23, 2025 If you are interested, please join us for this experience by registering here to access the Zoom link. Share the link with anyone who you feel might benefit. We will be providing design reviews for several people who show up live on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. ET with additional time afterwards on Thursday and Friday for Q&A about the membership. This event is to provide you with a taste of what our NEW Design Divas Membership (Beta version) will be like - a cost friendly option to access a positive, supportive, community of Zazzle designers who love creating designs, want to improve their success rate on creating best sellers and have fun. We look forward to meet you at one or all of the sessions Best Elke and Jen (Replay of the May 19th session will be available)

I've tried selling on Zazzle a few times, but never had much success; However I feel some of my illustrations could be helpful/used by Zazzle creators that have the right skills for designing Zazzle products! I've only just begun expanding into selling Clip Art/Illustrations, so only have a couple of products listed for now - Here is one of my first clip art packs, perfect for the coming summer months! More summery/vacation themed illustrations to come! https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/4308155698/fruit-line-art-digital-clip-art-18-hand?ref=shop_home_active_1&logging_key=2e1514e587ab9a356bc94895672a6ea18bb96d71%3A4308155698 *I hope this is the right place for this! I have the paid version of Lyn Analytics. It has worked fine, but recently, when I do a search in zazzle, and the products types, niches, etc come up on the drop down menu, there used to be totals beside each suggestion in the drop down menu. Now I am getting no number totals at all beside the auto suggested products. I contacted LynAnalytics. They have not answered me. I wrote to the once before and they did not answer me then either. I find th tools helpful but have suddenly lost functionality of one of the features. I checked the website to see if any updates and clicked on it, but nothing happened. Anyone have these problems, and have you gotten solutions or info. from them?

We have a company site and I am looking to move our store to the Zazzle platform. We are used to having a self-contained store where all of the products are ours. Is there any kind of option where sending someone to the product on zazzle contains the information to get back to our site after checking out or after putting an item in the cart? For example, I was on the Disney Zazzle store and added a Lion King Thank You Card to my cart. I clicked on "Continue Shopping" and it went to embroidered men's hoodies? That's weird enough in itself. You'd think "continue shopping" would go back to that storefront since I was in their storefront and not the marketplace. In our case, I'd like to send someone to from our site to zazzle to purchase our hoodie, and the "continue shopping" would have a URL back to our storefront on our site. Basically, as much of our store on our site as possible. I'm generally experienced in APIs and use Wordpress plugins, and I've had my own zazzle stores since back in the Great Migration from another platform 😉 which is why I'm promoting Zazzle as a possible solution.

If anyone needs help calculating their Zazzle earnings based on the new Ambassador program, I made a spreadsheet that will automatically tell you your earnings across Hustler, Good Neighbour and Hands Off categories, and you only need to input your sale price, royalty rate, and product department. https://ko-fi.com/s/b3271b9b78 (This is a paid product, those formulas weren't all easy!)

I have some exciting news. Ever since I started building the Snuggle Hamster Designs service for you guys I've wanted to be able to do more than just provide you with a bunch of tools to help you market your Zazzle products better. I have very much wanted to be able to directly offer you specific advice on how to improve your product's searchable texts. Here on Zazzle that's your product's name and tags of course. For Google, Pinterest, and other sites that also includes your product's description. Up to now I've been able to give you a lot of tantalizing clues like show you which of your keywords are most strongly associated with your sales. I can give you a good sense of how your products align with actual searches by Zazzle's customers. But this week I finally unveiled a powerful new AI analysis tool that looks at your product's gallery images and reads all your texts. It's powered by Google Gemini, one of the best LLMs presently available. This is a Premium agency feature, so you'll need to pay $19/mo (or $209/year) to access it. I know many of you are already experimenting with ChatGPT and other bots. Some are free and some of you are paying for more premium services. Those tools are great. But I think you're going to love how incredibly easy, fast, and practical our AI Advice tool is. When managing your product you'll see the new "AI Advice" tab: You don't need to have a long conversation with a chatbot. We do that part for you. But odds are good the bot will miss some things. So you get a chance to add some extra context that'll help it. Maybe you want to give it some clues about the artistic style. Or clarify what separates the design from the product it's printed on if it didn't get it right the first time. Or maybe drop some names that are trademarked that you would not want to share in your public description. Whatever might help. But then it's just a matter of pushing a button. Here's a taste of what you'll get back from the bot The bot has a lot to say! You can expand and collapse the sections so you can just focus on the parts you most care about: As a bonus, we keep all the queries you've sent about your product. You can go back in time to see what the bot had to say each time: To be sure, I don't want to suggest that you should simply copy and paste everything you get back from the AI bot. You know these things "hallucinate" a lot. Some of what they have to say is just factually wrong. And they're bound to miss some of the great things you already have to say about your products. But I think you're going to be surprised by the observations you get just by clicking a button. Hold its hand by giving it some extra context and you'll be even more amazed. Each of these sections contains actionable, practical insights about your products. Pick and choose what you think fits your taste and combine it with your own flair for words. If you're paying for an AI tool already you just might be able to let that subscription go. Sure you have to pay our subscription fee. But you might already have been considering us for all our other Premium features anyway. Maybe this new feature gives you a reason to switch to us for AI help with your product texts. Cheers.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a tool I've been using recently that’s really helped with my Zazzle store. It's a Chrome extension called Zazzlytics, and it provides insights into product performance, keywords, and trending designs. Here are a few ways I’ve found it helpful: Discovering High-Demand Keywords: It suggests keywords with potential sales data, helping me optimize my listings. Identifying Bestsellers: I can quickly see which designs are trending in my niche. Analyzing Competitors: It lets me explore other sellers' stores and bestselling products. I’m curious—how do you all research keywords or track trends for your products? Have you found any tools or techniques particularly helpful? Let’s discuss!

What's the difference between a successful online business and a hobby? A hobby is not earning enough (at least minimum wage but preferably much much more per hour) from an activity. If you want your Zazzle store(s) to provide you with the payout you desire, and not have it be a hobby, then the first step is to set your earnings goal (or sales goal - either way - your 2025 measure of monetary success of your Zazzle store). Without a goal you are just drifting. I drifted for many years because I was too overwhelmed to set a goal. I was frustrated by goal setting until I developed my own goal setting system called ERSD. I would either be disappointed because I set my goal too high and wouldn't reach it (talk about self doubt and how to reinforce those feelings) OR I would set my goal too low so I could say I achieved it but be disappointed that I wasn't accomplishing what I really wanted ...or worse I would overachieve the low goal and then have FOMO because I wondered what if I had set my goal higher? Would I have achieved it? Can you relate? That's why my ERSD goal setting technique became such a game changer for me. Now I set an EASY, REASONABLE, STRETCH and DREAM goal in order to aspire to my desired dream goal but also celebrate mini wins along the way. Plus it makes it fun to strive towards the dream goal without all the pressure. You can get all the details on how to use my ERSD Goal Setting Technique here Mindset and setting goals are the most important contributors to success. That is why, if you struggle with this, I encourage you to give the ERSD goal setting technique a try - it helps with both. The second step is to create a business plan to achieve your 2025 Zazzle Sales dream goal. I do this by unpacking the big scary number (my 2025 Zazzle Sales Goal) with a logical plan. I have a workbook and a process I go through every year that helps me reach my desired dream sales goals year after year. Now you can access this too along with my unique process that has helped me achieve my sales goals every year. I am holding a LIVE walk through and Q&A on Monday January 13th. If you can't make it there will be a replay. I do charge a small fee for this - statistics show time and time again that people succeed more if they have paid for a service or training. BUT for this community I will make you a special offer that the money you pay to access this educational training can be 2X credited towards either of my Zazzle courses and before October 31, 2025. ie. If you spend $100 then you will receive $200 credit towards either the Print on Demand Starter Kit (basic self study course) or The Profit by Design Academy (In-depth course and coaching - doors open in March) Click this link to save your seat for the 2025 Sales Planning Workshop and receive the workbook and a ticket to our fun vision board party as bonuses. Note: If you are enrolled in the PDA right now - you get access for free as a bonus. The third step is to define your WHY which you will be doing on Jan 14th in our BONUS Vision Board Party. Feel confident to set your 2025 Zazzle Sales Goals, create a doable product production plan to carry out, and have fun at the same time. Let's do this together! Hello! I am curious if anyone has used the mockup functionality of Adobe Illustrator (2025). I tried to look a bit through older posts, but I haven't seen anything recent. I am curious about their library of mockups and how easy they are to use. I am currently a subscriber to the Photography Plan, and I'm considering subscribing to All Apps right now while I can purchase it for half off. Thanks for your thoughts! Amanda
