A tool for you to use if you want to append your Ambassador ID to your product links. Also has space for you to add a tracking code.

Just copy your Ambassador ID in the box/copy your product link and generate - then you can copy/paste that to your socials

ps - it doesn't save any data anywhere (I'm not collecting anything - just a web base form)

Find your Ambassador ID here  https://www.zazzle.com/my/ambassador/ambassador

As a reminder - This is for adding your Ambassador ID to your products - zazzle already auto adds your Ambassador ID when you promote other designer's products using the share icon.

Have fun and bookmark it!

This is so helpful - thankyou!! Bookmarked.

I have a little text file that is just  "?rf=238499276722080691&tc=my_note_here" which I use to append to URLs when I want to promote something. But it still requires some back & forth and copying & pasting after editing the TC.

Your page tool here lets me add my ID and a custom TC and saves it as long as I keep the tab open so all I have to do is paste in a different URL and click Copy to have the whole thing.

I thought it was more advantageous for us not to include the Ambassador ID for our own products? 🤔

@NigelSutherland  when a link to your own product page yields 60 of other designers products, there's a chance you may get a referral using your own Ambassador ID if your product doesn't sell but one of the others do.

I'd rather get a 15% referral than nothing (source - was in PP2 and you didn't get anything when you brought in a customer that didn't buy your thing but bought something else from another designer)

I'm not saying stop posting clean links  - this gives you an option

YMMV.

Thank you for the explanation. It does make sense. I hadn't considered it that way.
I'm now concentrating on producing daily blog post articles that capture a variety of Zazzle products using the affiliate helper. That way I can then share the post to Twitter, Facebook, Flipboard and Pinterest. Google is now indexing the pages I'm pleased to say, so they must be happy with the content.

If anyone follows by blog they'll notice that there are new posts going out daily - sometimes 2 a day!

I should start thinking about getting back links somehow.

@NigelSutherland  Just as an example - I clicked through from my pinterest pin (uk)  for my socks and the first thing you see if "other designs you might like" which the customer may like those more than mine - fair enough - it's their choice

but I'd like to earn at least couple of pence for bringing that customer to the site hence adding my Ambassador ID to the pin

@NigelSutherland  Why don’t you post your blog link here for us to check out? And if you send me your blog URL via Zazzle chat I create a link for it (displayed in rotation throughout my site) and you have your first backlink?

@Sara_H   Sara, I will be adding your tool tonight to my resource page at https://sanfrancisco.zone/resources/ - that works even better than bookmarking it for me. And I fully agree - I rather have a robin in my hand than a dove in the tree (my grandmother use to say, smile). 😉
