When will I receive my Form 1099?
Form 1099s will be mailed: (i) to recipients at the end of January of each year and (ii) to the address listed in the payment settings section within your Zazzle account.

It's usually available in your PayPal account just after Jan 31. If I remember correctly, they no longer send them out physically, but I could be wrong.

You are wrong. The 1099 in US comes in mail physically. I have to have it along with other earnings forms that I give my tax preparer. It usually comes early in Feb. It would be useless in paypal.

As a Canadian, I still get a hardcopy of the 1099 form mailed to me.
it used to arrive by March 15, but the arrival times have been getting later and later.
I think last year I received it in mid-April (and our tax filing deadline is April 30).
Having a softcopy (PDF) to download from our Zazzle Payment section would be immensely useful.
No, I do not get a softcopy through PayPal.

As far as I know 1099 (and usual W-4's) have to be sent out postmarked Jan 31st or earlier. I forget where I was told but I was told it was a law in US for employers to follow. Granted tech makes soft copies pretty easy to come by, plenty still use snail mail.

I am setting up my H&R yearly appointment to file taxes decided to wait to the end of February to make sure I have all my forms. Some of the money I made was paid to PayPal and then I switched over to paper checks with Zazzle, so I am not sure how that affects the 1099 now I realized I should have waited until 2026 to switch over from PayPal to checks. How do you contact Zazzle to ask them?

the 1099 reflects all the royalty that Zazzle paid you regardless of the method by which you received it.
