About Acrylic Invitations

They are pretty, they are something new indeed but their title is not reflecting all that we can transfer into them from regular invitations / save the dates / thank you cards etc.

For example, when I create a normal paper type Birthday Party Save the Date Card, it has the correct title ending as set in the system ( example: 'Floral 25th Birthday Party Save the Date'), but when I transfer the design into an acrylic type, the title incorrectly becomes 'Floral 25th Birthday Party Save the Date Acrylic Invitations' .

The Save the Date Card is not a per-say invitation, so in this case (and all others where we're not talking strictly about invitations) it should have a different ending in the title (or no ending at all as it will take the title from the invitation except its ending part).

This can get a little bit confusing both for us and especially for customers, so a new setting in the system could be beneficial if it will reflect the exact scope of that acrylic (invitation / thank you / save the date acrylic card).

@Anne-Marie Did you edit the title after transfer? Maybe try that as an experiment

Of course. It never sticks. Always has the same "acrylic invitations' ending.

make your part of the title so long and it forces that off -- play around with it a bit.

It doesn't matter how long or short the title is. The ending is always the same. Did you check?

That doesn't work for me. It won't let me add any more characters beyond the limit, and won't force their own title off.

@Anne-Marie normally when you add a product type, the auto addition shouldn't happen. Let me see if I can find out why these might be exempt and get back to you. Thanks for flagging.

Thanks, James.

Also, if there is a way for them to be fixed, let us know how (if the title will take the end name that we give or something else in auto mode). For example, I recently created some Save the Dates acrylics and I added the 'Save the Date' in the title. So if they will take something auto like a normal Save the Date, I would hate to see that I have some Floral.. Save the Date Save the Date in acrylics 🙂

Here is an example from a number that I have been able to do that are different types of invitations:  https://www.zazzle.com/elegant_pink_wildflower_floral_90th_birthday_party_acrylic_invitations-256264...

That's lovely but we're not talking about invitations on acrylics. We're talking about other types of cards (Save the Dates, Thank you etc.)

Try and change your title with a Save the Date and you'll see that you'll have a Save the Date Acrylic Invitation, which is wrong.

You are quite correct -- it is an issue.

I have been trying to make an acrylic invitation but my finished products show two white squares underneath the item. Is there a section I need to go to in order to make those like yours?
