I’m not entirely new to POD, but just started to explore Zazzle and I’m overwhelmed before even opening my shop! 😋 I’m leary of paid classes and programs because so many of them include too much irrelevant information, but I’m wondering if I should do just that for getting started on Zazzle? I’m only exploring options right now. Zazzle offers so much it seems like a platform to get involved in. So much on offer also makes it seem like I’d be completely lost in it. Any thoughts? Turn and run? Dive in, and go from there? Or sit back, spend the money for a course, then study? I’m going to go draw something now.

Zazzle should offer an additional 35% on top of our base royalty when we create custom designs for customers. To streamline this process, there should be a separate product visibility option under the “Additional Information” section—alongside Public, Hidden, and Direct-Only, there should be a new option: CUSTOM. The 35% incentive aligns with the commission Zazzle already provides for self-referrals, making it a fair and motivating structure. Custom work varies in complexity—sometimes it's just a simple color change, but other times, I spend days refining a design to ensure my customer is satisfied, yet the financial return is minimal. An additional 35% compensation would help cover the extra effort, allowing designers to continue offering customization without needing to charge an upfront fee that could deter customers. Currently, I receive 5–10 custom requests every day, which is extremely time-consuming without proper incentive. By implementing this custom pricing structure, Zazzle can empower designers to better serve customers while ensuring our time and skills are fairly compensated. Let me hear your thoughts. Hopefully, someone from Zazzle will chime in as well.

I have over 25,000 products at various royalty rates depending on my time spent on creating my items and if it contains my original hand created artwork or just text etc. My issue now with having to review my rates to keep my stores competitive is if I want to adjust for example items currently at 10.9% down to 10%. And on the other side 14.9% I want to blanket all these up to 15.6% or more so I still get a fair price for my original artwork. This currently requires me to go individually or page by page depending on the rates and change products with the same rate on that page only. No way to select all products at 10.9% or 10.5% for example, and just them all down to 10% to avoid the new charge. This is super slow process and very time consuming! Considering overall I am going to see less money for my time and efforts, is there any chance or way we could have the ability to select all items only at 10.9% and change them in bulk! To be honest with you this is right pain currently to do and I am questioning if even worth the time and just losing out? It seems a thing for us sellers who have been loyally here for a very long time with a lot inventory to be playing impossible the catch up game task... How is everyone else with a mixture of royalty rates and large amounts of products doing this? Any help to speed up this process would be most welcomed as the deadline for changing is so short too it is really impossible and my time really needs to to focused on other things such as new artwork and the wedding season, to stand any chance of making ends met this year as with these changes we are going to have to sell even more products now just to earn the same.

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I'm posting about a possible bug. When I send out a promotional share link for a Zazzle product and choose the option of email, the recipient clicks on the link to my product in the email that was sent to them and sees this message: 400 Bad Request, Request Header or Cookie Too Large. I have gone to one of my Cross-Sell / Event Suite Collections, and after adding my personalized email message for a post purchase follow-up I tried preview the email. It comes to me, but when I try to click on the link to the collection I get the same error.... 400 Bad Request, Request Header or Cookie Too Large. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, does anyone know how this can be resolved?

You guys had to know people were already upset when we are asked to promote our products on social media like Pinterest and other social media, but when people click on our shared links, trying to reach OUR product, under them is a row of "other" people's products. But now, you have them on the top too? It's like you are asking us to promote our products, only to purposely hide them inside everyone elses! So basically we are promoting Zazzle and not going to get any referrals. It was already hard enough. If you're just trying to upsell products, then maybe have those products be our other products from our store or collection since the customer is already interested in our work to have clicked on this. That way it's not a waste of time for us to keep promoting our items. You guys win and so do we.

Today I did not find any option to close the new Help Chat pop up, its annoying and distracting, floating all the time rigidly at the right corner of screen! Please provide us the close option like before, we designers do not usually need to chat with bot but focus on our work and organizing without any visual distraction .... please Zazzle, its a request ! 🙏

I know nobody likes to hear negative things, BUT I think this needs to be said. I don't think I am alone in this feeling. It is becoming a full-time job keeping up with Zazzle's changes and all the things they want us to do to create a product. 1. The new collections, they are so hard to understand, and Zazzle said they were putting out videos to help us understand but hasn't. Nobody that I talk to gets the meaning behind the different choices like cross sell is obvious but then the rest of the choices sound pretty much the same. 2, All the different covers for everything is overwhelming. Multiple cover photos, cover videos, collection media photos, banners and cover photos. OMG seriously, it's overwhelming, can anyone keep up? Then to tell us to do it then send us emails telling us we did it wrong and Zazzle will go in and just delete photos it doesn't like. What a waste of time for us. What about us old-timers who have been with Zazzle for over a decade who have hundreds of collections already? We can't be grandfathered in? We are going to be punished for sticking with Zazzle for so long? 3. Only cover photos on the first couple pages of Zazzle. So creators who have been on Zazzle for years helping YOU GUYS make money, are being punished now because they have created hundreds or thousands of products that now you expect them to go back and make photo covers for. While new creators who happened to join at the time and learn they had to do this will take forefront. So this means our popular products that we worked hard on and have been selling, will no longer be featured and won't sell anymore. 4. The Chat box for creators at the top of the page. There should not be this. This is not most people's full-time jobs and nobody leaves Zazzle on to see when they get a message 24 hours a day. There should be an "email" option, so it doesn't appear that we are on live chat 24 hours a day to answer customer's questions. Not to mention almost every question is about shipping and manufacturing, which is not our gig to begin with. Another time waster. And customers get mad when they don't get an answer right away and just get sent from one place to another to ask questions. I have a youtube channel where all I do is promote Zazzle and give tutorials. I have loved Zazzle for many many years, way over a decade but it's becoming so consuming. I get hammered with so many questions every day because nobody understands anything Zazzle is doing and there are just so many steps to making a product, a collection, category and all of it. Just so overwhelming. So confusing and so time consuming, only to be constantly told we are doing it wrong. I can go on, but honestly it doesn't feel like anyone cares anymore. This is the first time I have thought about just walking away from it all. I have loved creating on Zazzle for years, but it has just become so frustrating like you guys are constantly knocking down us creators in one way or the other, it's become impossible to stay positive about it all.

I request that you do more on your website to celebrate your independent artists, please! (that you largely depend on for your plethora of product designs) Maybe declare "Independent Artist Day" every month! Please make it clearer on your website that designs on products are created by Independent artists! (since any of us who've dealt with custom requests know this is a point of confusion with customers who tend to think we are salaried Zazzle employees!) Since Creator royalties need to be set to 10% beginning 1 Apr (unless someone makes enough to afford the fee for being above 10%, which is not me) and increasing product carve out, I think you, Zazzle, making a bigger deal of your independent artists who do all the creative work would be greatly appreciated!

I am feeling kinda frustrated right now. Again and again I am getting custom requests through the chat. Each time is it back and forth for the day, making many different graphics, nobody is ever satisfied or tells you exactly what they want from the start and it's hours wasted and they don't end up buying anything or they do and you make ten cents. I wish Zazzle had a "custom art" fee. I don't know how that would work but something that makes it worth our time. I'm trying to work on Mother's Day cards, then got a chat message asking me to change what product a design is on. They wanted a gift tag, so i literally moved the design to all differnet gifts tags, because I know nobody is ever happy with the first attempt. Then after that they wanted all the colors changed. So did. Then they wanted different shades of the color. I did. Then i asked them to send me exactly the shades that they wanted. They did. Then they decided the design needed to be changed again. I explained i had to hand draw all of this. It's a hand drawn design and now they are asking for me to redo it all again back to the original design with slightly different shades. OMG. This is what happens every single time I get a "custom request." Does anyone else go through this? I'm not good at saying no. How do you all deal with this but in a kind way. I don't want to hurt people's feelings or make Zazzle look bad, but at the same time, I don't have time to go back and forth all day again and again.
