Absence of Quick Create forcing one onto other PODS

I was wondering if there are any plans to bring back QC? I understand that there were some issues with spammy and low-quality image placements, but I personally spent a couple of hrs at a time creating very unique template sets and ensuring the correct product placement and template field positioning.
The absence of QC (as it did have its place) is now I am obliged to post the designs I would normally reserve for QC here to another POD because I can do in 5 mins what it would take me a couple of hrs here. It is just not a good use of my time to add a design at a time here but for the specific designs I have in mind they do need to be across multiple product types.
Hence are there any plans at all for it to come back, perhaps with stricter regulation to prevent it running amok?

for now i gave up creating anything new - impossible to create X products each by each
yes, other sites have a much better interface to create quickly
if the reason of absence is that too many people create too many products, then limit the amount of products while

I guess it depends on what you are used to. Zazzle was my first POD so I learned that you pick a product FIRST, make your design specifically for that product, add the meta data to apply to that specific product, and publish. When I opened accounts at other PODs I was completely frustrated. What do you mean I need to upload a design first and then choose which products I want it to go on and then "tweak" each one? That just seems so backwards to me. And then tags/title/descriptions are per design rather than per product? I hated it. (I use past tense because I haven't even looked at any of my other POD accounts in who knows how long as I find them a major exercise in frustration as compared to Zazzle.)

Things have moved on a lot, you can create a template set in other pods which allow for uploading and accurate placement on around 50 products, and text etc all in place, with minor tweaks required, can be done in around 7 mins. I do NOT wish to use these other PODS, I am all Zazzle, but I don't have an alternative now?

My personal theory is that Zazzle no longer wants to enable the Quick Creation of products because it is just too much uploading too fast for the site. The fierce uptick in uploaded cover photos temporarily broke the system and they might not want to pile on more with Quick Create. If people are required to go the slower route of upload design>make product>transfer design to another product>repeat, then it may give their system some space to deal with everything.
I am envisioning 3 possibilities:
1)They paused Quick Create because it is too labor intensive for them (human reviewers) which was the initial holiday reason it was paused. It will come back when they hire more people or less labor intensive stuff is going on behind the scenes so that they can spare some people for QC product review.
2)Their servers can't handle a huge number of cover photo uploads and QC product creation simultaneously. They need people to create products a lot more slowly until the cover photo uploads slow down (which they will eventually). Then they bring it back when the mad scramble to upload cover photos has passed.
3)The MP itself just has too much stuff in it and they want to force people to pace themselves a lot more slowly, permanently to let the MP thin out a bit. I think forcing people to make their own templates was in service of that.

I am less interested in their reason (as I know there is always one) and more interested in whether in the decision is permanent because my plans for the specific niche I have in mind that lends itself better to QC (and my hand-created templates) may need to be placed elsewhere which is a drag but needs must.

I know what you mean. I had very careful sets created with multiple text templates and image templates, I could even make birthday or wedding suites that were pretty complex. I found if you did the work on the front end it could actually be a very powerful tool. No word though. Unless staff jump on the thread and tell us, we won't know if it's coming back. I stopped using QC a couple years ago.
