Add Google Track Code to store’s <head> tag to track sales??

Google Analytics provides a small snippet of a script so we store owners can see sales activity, clicks, duration, sales volume, etc. Will Zazzle tech support copy/paste this into our store’s Global template so it tracks everything easily to help us make better decisions and more money (and Zazzle too!!)?

The UA code is just generic tracking. We need the script for real info.

Thanks!

The problem is that Zazzle has not upgraded to GA4 in their backend; so the Universal Google Tracking is of no use, since it was depreciated by Google.  The implementation of the code is not that simple, based on how the site is implemented. Redbubble has the same issue and they are now working on a code implementation that would make the site suitable for use with GA4.  I would assume (since I haven't contacted Zazzle support), that they have a similar issue.

If their system was subdomain based it would be much simpler to implement as you suggest. I'm on other POD sites that use a subdomain system, and I am able to add tracking code from all the major players or just the tracking number as the code has already been added in the backend.
