I got the photo ones right but a couple of the art ones wrong. The trick with the photos is to remember that form follows function and to look for the places where it doesn't. For instance in 8, the little boy, the fingers are wrong (classic) and he is posed as though leaning on a railing but there is no railing. The algorithm is trained to learn the relationship between things in images but has no way of knowing that this relationship is defined by how those things function in 3 dimensional space. I suspect this problem will be solved in 2024 or 2025 by training it on video, which has already started.
The art is a lot harder because artists are not required to mirror real life and often don't. So you are left with either being familiar with the original artwork or spotting places where the part that doesn't reflect real life seems like an implausible artistic choice. For instance in 6, the fake Van Gogh it seems like an implausible artistic choice for Van Gogh to have made every sunflower look like a copy/paste. Also, the random little spots look more like JPEG artifacts than Impressionism.
But given how much has happened in a year, these things will likely be temporary. Remember the nightmare people from the first ever AI thread where Cat was wondering if she could make template photos with AI and decided nope. Well- now you can. AI template photos are currently very possible and not nightmare fuel any longer. I've already used it many times to generate fresh backgrounds for cover photos.
That brings us to a very real problem that AI has created; extremely plausible deep fakes. There has long been the ability to Photoshop changes to photos but that gets tripped up by the existence of the original photo which can be circulated for comparison. But that no longer holds. Recently there was an AI of the Pope walking around in a puffy white Balenciagga jacket which a lot of people fell for. Photographic evidence is going to become more and more suspect. Pics or it didn't happen is going to become irrelevent. It's quite exciting that it is now possible to generate template "photos" without worrying about a model release but that is a double edged sword outside of Zazzle.

AI will literally destroy the world eventually, I'll have nothing to do with it. Fakery will be so common we won't know what end is up, and people can't handle that kind of insanity. I'm glad I'll be dead before Skynet then comes into play.

@chefcateringbiz
I agree with you that interacting with AI is leading humanity down a very dark road. I posted the AI quiz and info to keep us informed. Knowledge is power.

20 out of 21… only missed the Degas. Years of experience let me spot the weirdness… photos are definitely easier.
